When you drop your dog off at Camp Bow Wow St. Clair Shores, you’re handing them to people who have been doing this in this community since April 2007. Tony and Jamie Caruso opened their first Camp Bow Wow franchise right here in St. Clair Shores and have been welcoming local pups ever since. Our Camp offers Dog Daycare, Dog Boarding, grooming, and training, backed by the standards of a national network of more than 200 locations across North America.

Our goal is simple: your dog should feel at home here. Room to run, friends to play with, and a safe place to rest when the day is done.

Everything Your Dog Needs, All in One Place

During Dog Daycare, pups spend the day in large climate-controlled indoor and outdoor play yards. Overnight guests stay in individual Cabins with a cozy cot, a fleece blanket, and Campfire Treats™ to end the night right.

Our all-inclusive pricing means no surprises. Medication administration, daycare during boarding stays, and individual Cabin accommodations are all included. Tony’s professional certification from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) backs our training program, and on-site grooming means you can handle everything in a single visit.

Safety, Screening, & Certified Camp Counselors®

Every dog attending Camp must pass a Camper Interview first. We require all Campers to be spayed or neutered and current on vaccinations, which helps keep the play environment healthy for every pup. Our Certified Camp Counselors® monitor open play throughout the day, helping keep interactions safe and positive.

Every Camp Counselor is trained and certified in pet first aid and pet CPR. Want to peek in on your pup mid-morning? Our Live Camper Cams let you check in from any device, anytime.

Tony & Jamie Caruso: Owners Rooted in St. Clair Shores

Tony and Jamie are a husband-and-wife team who opened their first Camp in April 2007. They now own four Camp Bow Wow franchises: two here in St. Clair Shores and two in Springfield, Missouri. Running multiple Camps hasn’t pulled them away from this community. They stay active with local charity fundraising and partner with multiple rescue groups in the area.

The Caruso family also hosts bite prevention readings at local elementary schools and libraries using the Scout Says, Dogs Get Nervous Too book. It’s a small program with meaningful impact, and it reflects the kind of ownership that goes well beyond running a business.

We run two Camps in St. Clair Shores under the same ownership.

• Camp Bow Wow St. Clair Shores is our original location, open to dogs of all sizes. Dog Daycare, Dog Boarding, grooming, and training are all available here.
• Camp Bow Wow Lil’ Campers St. Clair Shores is purpose-built for dogs under 40 pounds. Same all-inclusive services, same Certified Camp Counselors® and Live Camper Cams, with a play environment scaled for smaller breeds.
