Find answers to the most frequently asked questions below:

  1. Can I take a tour?
Absolutely. We encourage tours. Stop by your local Camp at any time during our regular hours and request a tour. No appointment is needed and we look forward to showing you around Camp!
  2. What is the schedule like at Camp Bow Wow?
All our Campers get the chance to play in spacious play yards, where they can socialize and romp around with other dogs. We separate our Campers by activity level, temperament, and size. Our trusted Camp Counselors, who are certified in pet first aid and CPR, carefully supervise and monitor play at all times.Your beloved pup can play all day long with other Campers. If one of our furry friends is tired, they can nap in one of our spacious Cabins. Overnight Campers play all day and take short breaks for meals and naps.
  3. How far in advance should I make a Cabin reservation for Overnight Camp?
Early booking is highly recommended! Our Camp fills up quickly around the holidays, summer vacation and local events. We also recommend your dog attends Day Camp a few times prior to staying overnight in order to get accustomed to Camp and reduce separation anxiety.
  4. What should I bring to Overnight Camp?
We strongly recommend bringing your own food as it is best for your pup to eat the food they are accustomed to, in order to avoid an upset stomach. Ask the front desk about our house food policy. In addition, you can bring their favorite toy or stuffed animal to curl up with. You do not need to bring a bed as each cozy Cabin has a comfy cot and fleece blanket!
  5. When can I drop off my dog?
For dogs staying overnight, you can drop them off anytime that day, but we suggest arriving before 4pm so they can play, eat and then play again prior to bedtime.
  6. What time should I pick up my dog? For pickup time, we request that you pick up your dog 15 minutes prior to closing so we can tuck in the Overnight Campers.
  7. Will someone be able to administer medicine? We administer medication provided by the pet parent in pill, powder or liquid form for no additional fee. We do not give any injected medications. All medications must be in their original container.
  8. Is Camp Bow Wow staffed overnight? Enjoy tranquility knowing your pet is safe with Camp Bow Wow's overnight dog boarding. Our facilities feature 24/7 temperature monitoring, fire, and security alarms, ensuring your pup's well-being around the clock.
