Puppy Daycare

Yes, puppy playgroups are designed with safety in mind, including for small and toy breeds. Our Certified Camp Counselors® group pups by size, temperament, and play style so your little one can romp with appropriately matched friends under close supervision.
-
Absolutely. Puppies need plenty of rest between play sessions. We build in downtime so your pup can recharge with quiet breaks, helping them avoid overstimulation and keeping their experience positive and balanced.
-
Puppy evaluations (or Camper interviews) help us get to know your pup’s personality, play style, and comfort level. Our team will review their health and vaccination records, introduce them slowly to the play yards, and observe how they interact with other dogs so we can place them in the best group for safe, happy play.
-
For many young pups, a half-day of daycare is a great starting point. It gives them a chance to play, learn, and socialize without getting overly tired. As your puppy grows and builds stamina, we can help you decide if and when a full day might be a good fit.
-
Puppies can usually enjoy a full or half day of daycare, depending on their age, energy level, and experience. We watch closely for signs of fatigue or overstimulation and make sure they get rest when needed. Our team can recommend the right length of stay based on your individual pup.
-
Yes. For the safety of all our Campers, puppies must be up to date on required vaccinations for their age, such as Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella, and meet any additional local requirements. Rabies is typically required once they are old enough. Check with your local Camp for their full vaccine list and age guidelines before your puppy’s first day.
-
Bring your puppy wearing a quick-release collar with ID tags. If they are staying through a mealtime, you can also bring their regular food in a labeled container. Our team will let you know if anything else is needed based on your Camp’s policies and your pup’s routine.
-
Many families find 1–3 days a week works well for socialization, play, and routine without overwhelming their puppy. The ideal schedule depends on your pup’s age, energy, and temperament. We’ll work with you to find a rhythm that keeps your puppy happy, confident, and well-rested.
-
Yes, when it’s structured and supervised, daycare can be a wonderful way for puppies to learn healthy dog-to-dog and dog-to-human social skills. At Camp Bow Wow, pups meet new friends, practice good manners, and build confidence in a safe, controlled environment guided by our Certified Camp Counselors®.
-
Puppies need to be at least four months old to have received certain core vaccinations and meet our health criteria. Many Camps welcome puppies once they’ve completed their initial vaccine series as required locally. Contact your Camp to confirm their minimum age and vaccine requirements for puppy daycare.
