We Get to Know Your Pup Before CampLife Fun

At Camp Bow Wow, we welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes. Before your pup joins the fun, we begin with a Camper Interview to get to know their temperament, play style, and comfort level in a group setting. 

We carefully ease them into their new environment by introducing them to the right play group at a pace that helps them feel comfortable. This helps us ensure they’re ready for our open-play environment, setting them up for a positive CampLife experience from day one. 

After the interview, you’ll receive a brief report on how your pup adjusted, along with any important notes from our Camp Counselors.

Tailored Care, Supervised Play All-Day

Throughout the day, our Certified Camp Counselors® supervise every moment to ensure your pup is safe and well cared for. 

We carefully group dogs by size, temperament, and energy level, so they can play and socialize in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.

During play, we provide gentle guidance and attentive care, redirecting behaviors such as mounting, excessive barking, or rough play to maintain positive, safe, and fun interactions. 

We also schedule regular rest breaks to give your pup time to recharge and prevent overstimulation, keeping energy levels balanced throughout the day.

As your dog grows and gains confidence, we’re always mindful of adjusting their groupings to reflect any changes in how they like to play and socialize. 

Whether they're getting their zoomies out, enjoying some quiet time, or need extra one-one-one attention, our Camp Counselors are there to ensure your dog feels included, supported, and loved.
