It’s International Dog Biscuit Day! Yep, it’s a real thing! I know… because we don’t have enough foolish holidays to celebrate, now we have to add dog biscuits to the mix!
You’re in luck because we have some tried-and-true recipes from one of our very own campers. Here are some of Missy’s favorite treats:
Pumpkin Cut Oats
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix well
- Roll out on a floured surface
- Cut into shapes with your favorite cookie cutters
- Bake on lined cookie sheet for 40 minutes or until crisp
- Store in airtight container and refrigerate
Banana Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 overripe banana
- 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Roll into 1″ balls
- Place on lined cookie sheet
- Bake for 15 minutes
- Store in airtight container and refrigerate
