Unwavering Commitment to Your Pup's Safety and Comfort

The well-being of every dog in our care is the absolute top priority at Camp Bow Wow San Ramon. We uphold stringent policies and maintain high standards that allow pet parents near Danville to have complete confidence in our services. Our dedication to safety includes:

  1. Certified Camp Counselors® who undergo extensive training in dog behavior analysis, pet first aid, and Canine CPR. Their expertise ensures a controlled and positive environment for all group play.
  2. A mandatory "Camper Interview" assessment for all new dogs to ensure they are well-suited for our group play setting. Additionally, all Campers must be current on essential vaccinations and spayed or neutered (if over six months of age). Specific details about our Bordetella policy are available upon inquiry.
  3. 24/7 monitoring capabilities, including live-streaming webcams accessible to you via your computer or mobile device. This transparency allows you to check in on your pup during playtime from anywhere in the world.
  4. Our spacious indoor play areas are fully climate-controlled, and we also provide access to fresh outdoor yards for potty breaks and sunshine.

We go above and beyond to provide a secure and loving atmosphere, giving pet parents the ultimate peace of mind.

Because we are familiar with the local climate and lifestyle in the Tri-Valley area, we know how to keep pups comfortable during warm summer afternoons and cooler evenings. Our team monitors how each dog is handling group play, rest breaks, and mealtimes so that your dog's boarding service experience is tailored to your pup’s age, energy level, and personality rather than a one-size-fits-all routine.

  • Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.

The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.

Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.

In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
