Dog Boarding in San Ramon, CA
Overnight Boarding with All-Day Open Play for Your Dog
When you need to travel and your dog can’t come along, Camp Bow Wow San Ramon offers overnight dog boarding services that go well beyond a standard kennel stay. Boarded dogs spend their days running and playing in our connected indoor and outdoor play yards, then settle into cozy Cabins each night. Your dog stays active, social, and comfortable from drop-off to pickup.
Our indoor play areas flow directly into outdoor spaces with artificial turf, so dogs move freely throughout the day under the watch of our Camp Counselors. We serve pet parents across San Ramon and the surrounding area, including Danville, Alamo, Moraga, and communities throughout Contra Costa County and Alameda County.

A Day (and Night) at Camp Bow Wow San Ramon
From the moment your dog arrives, the day is built around play. Campers spend their time in our spacious play yards from dawn to dusk, running, socializing, and staying active alongside other dogs. Camp Counselors are present throughout every play session, keeping energy positive and interactions safe.
As the evening winds down, each Camper heads to their Cabin, where they rest on a comfortable cot with a fleece blanket and receive a Campfire Treat to close out the night. Active days followed by a calm, consistent bedtime routine can support healthy sleep and help dogs settle in, especially on longer stays.
Grooming and training services are available alongside boarding, so your dog can come home clean and well-rested without requiring a separate appointment. It’s a one-stop destination for everything your dog needs while you’re away.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
