Before your pup joins the group, they go through a Camper Interview. This isn’t a formality: it’s how we get to know your dog’s personality, play style, and comfort level around other dogs. Dog Daycare Requirements at Camp Bow Wow

Our Camper requirements exist for one reason: to keep every dog in our play groups safe and healthy. Before joining the open-play environment, all dogs must complete a Camper Interview so our Certified Camp Counselors can assess their personality, energy level, and comfort around other dogs. This temperament screening supports first-time daycare dogs and longtime Campers alike.

To participate in dog day care at Camp Bow Wow Fort Mill, all dogs must meet the following requirements:

Pass the Camper Interview prior to joining the play group
Be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age
Be current on Bordetella, DHPP, and rabies vaccinations
Be free of contagious health conditions at the time of each visit

Spay and neuter requirements help reduce hormone-driven tension in group settings. Vaccination requirements, including Bordetella, which guards against common causes of kennel cough, reduce the risk of illness spreading through shared play areas. At every check-in, our Counselors also conduct a snout-to-tail assessment to catch any health concerns before your pup enters the group.
