We apply a Boulder-specific Bordetella vaccination requirement of every 6 months, compared to the standard 12-month interval at other Camp Bow Wow locations. Because local dogs are in group play frequently and their owners travel often, the shorter interval reflects the exposure patterns we see here in Boulder County. It’s one of the ways we tailor Camp to this specific community rather than applying a one-size-fits-all policy.
