Blueberry Pupcakes to Celebrate Your Pup's Birthday!

  • 1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup blueberries, halved*


  • 8oz cream cheese (substitute with greek yogurt if you'd like)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional - make sure to use real maple syrup as others may have sweeteners that can be harmful to dogs)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners
  3. Add the whole wheat flour and baking powder to the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with blade attachment, mix
  4. Add the coconut oil and greek yogurt, mix until just fully combined
  5. Add eggs 1 at a time, beat
  6. Fold in the blueberries
  7. Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes
  9. Allow to cool completely before frosting


  1. Add the cream cheese to the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with blade attachment, beat on high until smooth
  2. Add the maple syrup, continue to beat
  3. Add the blueberries, beat on high until the blueberries break up and incorporate into the frosting
  4. Use a piping bag to pipe the frosting onto each cupcake or spread it on with a knife
