Our Lawrenceville facility serves Trenton and the wider Mercer County community, and new Campers can claim the Get Your First Day Free! offer after completing their Camper Interview.

Why Trenton Dog Owners Choose Camp Over the Alternatives

Most dog care options in Trenton ask you to trade off something important. In-home sitters rarely have dedicated play space. Neighbors aren’t trained in dog behavior or first aid. We built our model around removing those trade-offs.

Certified Camp Counselors® supervise every play session, trained in dog behavior, pet CPR, and first aid. While your dog plays, you can pull up the Live Camper Cams℠ on your phone or computer and check in anytime. Our Camp App makes webcam access, reservation requests, and camper profile management easy from anywhere.

Pricing is all-inclusive with no hidden fees. Medication administration is covered. Day care during a boarding stay is included at no extra charge. Overnight Campers get an individual Cabin with a cozy cot, fleece blanket, and a Campfire Treat™ included. What you see is what you pay.

Two more perks worth knowing:

  • Re-Fur a Friend: Refer a friend who becomes a paying customer and earn a free day of camp.
  • Bow Wow Buddies Foundation: Our broader commitment to dog welfare that goes beyond daily care.

A Day in the Life at Camp

Dogs don’t all play the same way, so we don’t treat them like they do. Every Camper is grouped by size, temperament, and energy level so playtime is compatible and safe. A bouncy adolescent Lab and a laid-back senior aren’t sharing a yard.

Play Yards & Climate-Controlled Spaces

Our facility has both indoor and outdoor play yards. The indoor spaces are climate-controlled, which matters in Central New Jersey, where July heat and January cold can make outdoor-only play uncomfortable or unsafe. Camp runs comfortably year-round because of it.

Supervision, Rest Breaks & Individual Attention

Throughout the day, Camp Counselors redirect excessive roughhousing and schedule regular rest breaks to prevent overstimulation. Each dog arrives for a snout-to-tail assessment so we can catch anything worth noting before the day begins. Counselors get to know individual dogs over time, adjusting groupings as a pup’s confidence and play style develop.

Dog Enrichment Add-Ons

For dogs who want more than open play, Dog Enrichment activities are available as an add-on, providing structured, mentally stimulating experiences alongside daily group play. Monthly themed events are part of the Camp calendar too.

How We Screen Every Dog Before They Join the Pack

Every new dog completes a Camper Interview before entering the open-play environment. Counselors assess temperament, play style, and comfort in a group setting. Afterward, you receive a report on how your dog adjusted, along with notes from the team. It’s how we evaluate whether a dog is a good fit for the yard.

Participation in Dog Daycare or boarding requires:

  • Spay or neuter: Required by 7 months of age
  • DHPP vaccine: Required
  • Rabies vaccine: Required
  • Bordetella vaccine: Required
  • Leptospirosis vaccine: Recommended

The facility is cleaned and sanitized daily with pet-safe products. Play yards, Cabins, water bowls, and toys are all part of the routine. These standards aren’t box-checking. They’re what supports a safe open-play environment.

Dog Boarding, Grooming & Enrichment in One Place

We’re a one-stop destination for Trenton-area pet parents who don’t want to juggle multiple providers. Beyond Dog Daycare, the Lawrenceville location offers Dog Boarding with individual Cabins, Dog Grooming, and Dog Enrichment programs. Dogs boarding overnight stay in the same open-play environment they know from daycare, which helps maintain routine and can help keep stress low.

The staff who know your dog’s play style, energy level, and preferences are the same ones handling grooming and care. That continuity can be hard to replicate when you’re splitting services across different businesses.

Get Started with a Free First Day for Your Trenton Pup

The first step is a Camper Interview at our Lawrenceville location. It’s how we get to know your dog and confirm they’re ready for the CampLife experience. New Campers who complete the interview are eligible for the Get Your First Day Free! offer, so there’s a low-stakes way to see whether your dog becomes a Happy Camper before you commit. We serve Trenton and surrounding Mercer County communities, and reservations can be managed through the Camp App or by calling us directly.
