Dog Boarding in Benton

Overnight Boarding with Open Play & an Individual Cabin

When you’re heading out of town, you want to know where your dog will spend the day, how they’ll rest at night, and who will supervise them. At Camp Bow Wow Benton-Bryant, overnight dog boarding includes supervised open play in indoor and outdoor play yards, an individual Cabin with a cozy cot and fleece blanket, and a nightly Campfire Treat.

Rather than spending most of the stay in kennel-style housing, your dog can run, socialize, and follow a daily rhythm of active play and individual rest. As Saline County’s first dog boarding and grooming facility, we bring the resources of North America’s pet care franchise network, with more than 220 locations, to every stay.

Enjoy your time away knowing your dog is receiving attentive care and plenty of activity. Contact Camp Bow Wow Benton-Bryant at (501) 521-2755 to ask questions or begin planning a stay.

Visiting Family? Your Dog Is Too

What to Expect When Your Dog Boards at Camp

Before joining the group-play environment, first-time boarders complete a Camper Interview that assesses behavior and fit. We also verify current vaccinations and spay or neuter status. Together, these steps help us create compatible play groups and reduce preventable conflicts.

A Day in the Life at Camp

Once your dog completes the screening process, each stay follows a rhythm built around activity and rest. Certified Camp Counselors supervise open play in our indoor and outdoor play yards, manage group dynamics, and watch interactions throughout the day. In the evening, your Overnight Camper settles into an individual Cabin with a cozy cot, fleece blanket, and nightly Campfire Treat.

This predictable routine gives your dog time to exercise and socialize before resting in a space of their own.

Vaccination & Screening Requirements

All Campers must be spayed or neutered and current on required vaccinations before entering the play environment. Because dogs share play spaces, these requirements protect the health and safety of every pup in our Benton facility.

  • Yes, holiday surcharges are common in dog boarding because these are peak times when space and staff are in higher demand. Many Camp Bow Wow locations may apply a small holiday fee or require minimum-night stays during major holidays to ensure we can provide safe, consistent care for every Camper. Your local Camp will share holiday rates and policies in advance so you can plan your pup’s stay with confidence.

  • Many Camp Bow Wow locations provide daily updates so you know how your pup is doing during dog daycare and boarding. Our Certified Camp Counselors® closely monitor each Camper’s behavior, play style, and overall well-being, and can share how your pup ate, played, rested, and made new friends. Some Camps also offer digital “report cards,” photos, or notes, so you get added peace of mind while your four-legged family member enjoys their stay - check with your local Camp for specific update options.
  • Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.

The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.

Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.

In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
