Dog Grooming Service in Benton

Grooming Added to Daycare or Boarding, All in One Visit

What’s better than picking up a happy dog from Camp? Picking up a clean, happy dog from Camp. Camp Bow Wow® provides nail trimming and bathing services that leave your pup looking and smelling their best. Bathing a dog at home is time-consuming, messy, and stressful for everyone involved. Rather than wrestling with the tub after a long day, let us take care of it during your dog’s stay.

Our Benton dog grooming service goes beyond the basics. Regular grooming supports coat and skin health, not just appearance, and a session in a familiar environment can make a real difference for dogs who find a new salon stressful. Because Campers already know our play yards, cabins, and Camp Counselors, they can arrive at the grooming area more relaxed rather than on edge.

Call us at (501) 521-2755 or contact us online to learn more about our grooming services.

Grooming Coordinated with Daycare & Boarding

Our grooming areas are designed for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, so every session is comfortable from start to finish. The real advantage for Campers is convenience: grooming can be coordinated with a daycare or boarding stay in a single visit. One popular option is the exit bath, scheduled at the end of a boarding or daycare stay so your dog can go home clean and dry without an extra trip.

Many of our Campers come from across Saline County, including nearby Bryant and Alexander, and we work to make every visit efficient. When you choose dog grooming in Benton at Camp, you can combine baths or nail trims with daycare or boarding so your pup enjoys playtime, rest, and grooming all in one familiar place.

If you have a puppy visiting Camp for the first time, we can introduce them to grooming gradually so they build positive associations with being handled and bathed. For older dogs or those who are nervous, we take our time, offer breaks, and share what we noticed at pickup so you know what helped them feel comfortable. That kind of communication can support your at-home routines too.

Safety & Comfort During Every Session

Our team undergoes regular training on grooming techniques and safety standards, and that care shows in how each session is handled. We check every dog for skin concerns, tangles, or signs of discomfort and share anything we notice with you at pickup. Live webcams let you check in on your pup anytime during their stay.

Many dogs in the Benton area are active on local trails and parks, which means they can arrive with dirty coats, burrs, or excess shedding. Staying on a regular grooming schedule can also help catch early signs of skin irritation, matting, or ear concerns before they become larger problems.

Booking & Preparing for Your Grooming Appointment

At Camp Bow Wow Benton-Bryant, scheduling grooming is straightforward, whether you’re commuting along I-30 or balancing a busy schedule in Benton and Bryant. You can request a grooming appointment when you book daycare or boarding, or reach out to set up a stand-alone visit. We’ll ask about your dog’s coat type, any sensitivities, and your grooming goals so we can recommend the right services.

Before your visit, a quick check at home for matting, hot spots, or behavioral changes is helpful, and you can share those details with us at drop-off. After each session, we’ll review what we did, how your dog responded, and how to maintain their coat between visits. Seasonal options like de-shedding treatments during heavy shedding months or nail checks before holidays and travel round out a year-round routine that fits your dog’s lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Does a Typical Grooming Session Include?

A typical grooming session at Camp Bow Wow includes a bath, nail trimming, and coat brushing. We use high-quality products, including oatmeal shampoo and conditioner options suited to your dog’s coat and skin. Ear cleaning and teeth brushing are available as add-ons. Each session is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, so they can come home clean, comfortable, and refreshed.

How Often Should My Dog Be Groomed?

Grooming frequency depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Most dogs benefit from a session every 4 to 8 weeks. Regular grooming reduces shedding, helps prevent matting, and keeps skin healthy. Our team can suggest a personalized schedule based on your dog’s needs and activity level.

Dog Grooming FAQs

Have questions? Camp Bow Wow Benton-Bryant is here to help!

  • An exit bath is a bath scheduled at the end of your dog’s boarding or daycare stay so they go home clean and fresh after all their Camp adventures. We time it close to pick-up so your pup is dry, brushed, and ready for snuggles when you arrive. Just ask to add an exit bath when you book your Camper’s stay.
  • Most dogs benefit from a nail trim every 3–6 weeks, but it depends on how fast their nails grow and how much they naturally wear them down. If you can hear your pup’s nails clicking on the floor, it’s usually time for a trim. Our groomers can recommend a schedule that keeps your Camper’s paws healthy and comfortable.
  • Both nail grinding and clipping can be safe and effective when done properly. Clipping quickly shortens the nail, while grinding can smooth and round the edges, which some pups and pet parents prefer. Our team can talk through the options and help you choose what’s best for your dog’s comfort and nail health.
  • A typical dog bath service includes a gentle shampoo, a thorough rinse, towel and/or blow dry, and a brush-out suited to your pup’s coat. Some Camps may also offer add-ons like nail trims, ear cleaning, or de-shedding treatments. We’ll always let you know exactly what’s included so your pup gets the most out of their bath time.
  • Many pet parents love adding a bath at the end of a boarding stay or a big day of play so their pup comes home clean, soft, and cuddle-ready. After all that fun in the play yards, a fresh bath can be a nice finishing touch. Let us know at booking if you’d like to schedule a bath so we can plan your Camper’s “spa time” before pick-up.
