Our Day Camp program is what dog daycare looks like at Camp Bow Wow Benton-Bryant®. Rather than spending the day in a kennel or crate, dogs enter an open-play environment where they run, romp, and socialize with other Campers from morning through the afternoon. It’s structured, supervised play, not drop-off care.
Certified Camp Counselors® monitor every session, grouping dogs by size and temperament so play stays safe and fun for everyone. Pet owners from Benton, Bryant, and across Saline County use Day Camp as a regular part of their dog’s weekly routine. Day Camp is available on its own for working pet parents or as an included part of any boarding stay.

Dog Boarding: Sleepover Camp
Our Dog Boarding program, Sleepover Camp, builds on the same Day Camp experience daycare dogs enjoy. Boarding Campers spend their day in open play alongside day visitors, then retire to their own individual cabin for the night. Each cabin comes with a Campfire Treat™, a cozy cot, and a fleece blanket. Dogs that stay active during the day can come home more relaxed, and the physical outlet can take the edge off sleeping somewhere new.
Dog Enrichment & the Camper Interview
Dog Enrichment adds a layer beyond group play. Structured one-on-one and small-group activities engage a dog’s natural problem-solving instincts through interactive games and sensory sessions, mental stimulation that open play alone doesn’t fully address.
Before any dog joins Day Camp or boarding, a Camper interview is required. This free social assessment places your dog in a group setting to observe their behavior and temperament and evaluate whether they’re a good fit for our open-play environment while helping protect every Camper in our care. Our dogs love Camp Bow Wow. The staff is friendly and love on our dogs, they are enthusiastic, helpful and comforting when you first take your dog in. Based off of conversations with our vet and trainers, their program is set up correctly and in the best interest of the dogs. They have rest breaks to help diminish overstimulation, which was not necessarily the case at some other places. I didn’t even know that was important until our trainer mentioned. They are a great business and have been such a big help to us!

Great first day experience! All the staff were so friendly and informative from start to finish. It was comforting and fun being able to see the meet and greet process of my dogs, as it gave me a much better understanding of them more individually since sometimes they act differently when together or around me. My Sadie Now LOVES Going to Daycamp
My girl Sadie became a camper here in January. She is a very shy girl and can get overstimulated easily, which made me nervous, but I needed a place for her to stay when we go out of town. The staff here have been so patient with her and have loved her so well. The first couple of days were rough, but because of how kind the staff has been, my Sadie now LOVES going to daycamp. She begs every morning to be taken to daycamp, and anytime we pull up to camp she is begging to go play with her friends and staff members. I’m honestly not sure if she prefers the dogs or people more. Seriously, could not recommend this place enough for all your dogs’ needs, whether it’s daycamp, boarding, or even grooming needs. They are all great!!

Getting Started at Camp Bow Wow Benton-Bryant
Every dog’s first step is the Camper interview, a free social assessment that takes place in a group setting. We observe your dog’s behavior and temperament before they join Day Camp, giving us what we need to keep play safe and enjoyable for every Camper in attendance. A structured introduction like this can reduce stress for dogs new to group environments more effectively than immediate full-group immersion.
To participate, dogs must be spayed or neutered and current on rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. These requirements aren’t just policy. They help protect dogs in our facility, including those whose owners may not be aware of current disease risk in the area.
The interview doubles as your dog’s first day of camp, which is complimentary for new Campers. While your pup is getting acquainted with the pack, you can watch through our live Camper Cams. Once your Camper passes the interview, Dog Daycare, boarding, grooming, and enrichment are all available to book through the Camp App or by phone.
