Jeff and Diana Owner Years Open: 12 See Full BioJeff and Diana Years Open: 12 Owner
Jeff & Diana discovered Camp Bow Wow in 2005 and realized they could combine their love for animals with their customer service experience to create their own doggy heaven! They officially opened the Burnsville location in September 2006 and have loved every minute of it. They especially like the fact that Camp Bow Wow gives back to animals through their Camp Bow Wow Buddies Foundation - which helps rescue pets and also invests in finding a cure for canine and feline cancers
Their passion for animals goes way beyond Camp Bow Wow life too. They are active in rescue and partner with New Leash Rescue and other local rescues to help their dogs get socialized and find homes. They also started Baja 34 Rescue Project back in 2015 when they stumbled upon some stray cats and dogs abandoned in Mexico. They have helped in rescuing 300 animals from the area since.
What do they think is the best thing about owning a Camp Bow Wow? “The staff! Along with our customers, we love having staff that cares for the dogs as much as we do.” They also note that they can’t imagine a better business than one where you get to scratch your customers behind the ears!
