Save a Dog's Life on #GivingTuesday

Tuesday, December 3rd is #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving. Please consider donating to the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, our nonprofit organization that supports the health and happiness of our furry loved ones. Our Foundation provides necessary medical care grants to:

  • Animal shelters and rescue groups with a dog needing medical treatment before being made available to adopt.
  • Families facing hardship that need assistance to be able to keep their dog healthy and in their home.

So far in 2019, we've provided grants to over 100 dogs across North America - but we need your support to help others in need!

Together we can help all our furry friends enjoy full, healthy lives.

Dogs We've Helped

Here are a few stories from recent grant recipients. Check out more here!

Chaz

This is Chaz, a 1-year-old loving lab-mix from Wappinger Falls, New York. When he was rescued by the Care of DC Pets, Chaz was in bad condition with a broken femur that required surgery. Fortunately, the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation awarded Chaz a medical grant to help with the costs. We’re happy to report that Chaz is doing great and found his fur-ever home!

“Chaz is doing amazing. He is being spoiled by his parents who adopted him! Chaz would not have been able to walk without the surgery he got for his broken femur and would have been in a lifetime of pain.” - Carol, Care of DC Pets Volunteer

Ginger

Meet Ginger, an 8-year-old rescue from Sheryl’s Den Animal Rescue in New Jersey. Before getting adopted, Ginger was rushed to the ER after collapsing on the floor, which was the result of a large mass that required immediate surgery. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation awarded Sheryl’s Den Animal Rescue with a grant to help with the costs.

Since the procedure, Ginger found her forever home, loves boating and playing with her ball!

Diesel

Meet Diesel, a playful rescue at the Humane Society of Jefferson County in Tennessee. Unfortunately, this 4-year-old pup was diagnosed with heartworm disease and couldn’t be adopted without treatment. That’s when the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation awarded Diesel a grant to help assist with the heartworm treatment. We’re happy to report that Diesel is now heartworm free and found his fur-ever home!

“Diesel has since been adopted and is now a truck driving buddy! He has been all over the place with is new person!”
