You were all so great! Abigail was anxious because it was her first time in that environment (noise, dogs, strangers), and you took it slow with her. I thought you might call me and say, "Come collect your mayhem muppet. She's herding everyone!" because she can be... umm... bossy. Although she was only there for three hours, you all helped her settle in and she was just fine. Thanks for a great first day at camp!

I take my dog to Camp Bow Wow and I honestly couldn’t love it more. At drop-off, he practically sprints to the door for his kisses, which says everything. He comes home happily exhausted every single time. What really sets them apart are the extra touches. He loves the snuggles, photos, and fun scavenger activities that make it feel so much more personal. Their grooming services are also fantastic and super convenient. I truly believe my older dog is staying younger because of his time here. It gives him energy, stimulation, and so much joy. Couldn’t recommend them more!

My pet is happy at Camp Bow Wow. She gets excited when we drive near the business. I love that I can check on her via their cameras on the Camp Bow Wow app. Their groomer at this location also does a fantastic job grooming my pet.

We absolutely LOVE Camp Bow Wow Wake Forest! 🐾 Our Golden Retriever, Penelope, is almost 10 years old and still gets so excited to go. She has the best time every visit—playing, socializing, and coming home happy and tired. It says so much that even at her age, she truly enjoys being there. One of my favorite features is the camera access—I can check in on her anytime, which gives me so much peace of mind. The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and attentive. You can tell they truly love the dogs and treat them like their own. That means everything to me. I’m so glad we decided to give them a try—it’s been such a great experience for both me and Penelope. Highly recommend!

This was the first time boarding for Karma. I couldn't be happier. She was so excited to arrive, and all the added activities to help with this boarding truly made a difference. She enjoyed time with other dogs in the play yard and her one-on-one cuddles. I've made this a top choice for any future boarding needs. I've also recommended Camp Bow Wow to my sister to help with her hyperactive dog.

My dogs know immediately when we round the corner to Camp Bow Wow. 🤩 I mention it at home, and they wait by the door! I enjoy being able to watch them on video as well. The staff are always very friendly and so welcoming to my dogs. It's always clean! Lots of fun additions to participate in if you choose for them when they play each month. Great place!

I have been fortunate that I have never had to board my dog (who we have had for three years) because my parents live nearby. We had a family vacation planned, and my parents were unavailable, so we took Kitkat to Camp Bow-Wow. I loved how they "introduce" the pets to the place/other dogs. The process is great - Kitkat is a girl, so here was the process: Kitkat (on leash) with another girl dog. If it goes well, they go off leash. If that goes well, they bring in a leashed male dog. If that goes well, they are both unleashed. Then they do the male/female dog together, leashed, then unleashed. If it continues, they bring in a few more. Once they pass the friendly test, they put them in the area according to their size. Well, my dog is a "big" dog, but a weenie. So after a few days of boarding here, there, they moved her to the smaller dog area where she was much more comfortable. I love that they get to run around inside and outside all day, and play/interact with other dogs. I love that a camp counselor is in the room with them at all times, and is constantly moving around so the dogs don't congregate in one area. It is very clean, your items are returned to you washed, your dog comes home happy and smelling good! (You can also get them groomed there if you wish.) The owners are friendly, always available, and are true pet lovers. As someone who didn't feel comfortable boarding their dog before - I do now (but only at one of the owners two Camp Bow-Wows). P.S. - they even sent me some pictures of her while we were gone, and when they are in the big play areas, you can always log in on the app on your phone and watch them play! (So you can lay your eyes on your pup whenever you want!)

Our dogs always come back to our home showing no signs of stress. Since I board multiple dogs, they are happy to help me load/unload everyone from the car, and I appreciate the extra service and warm and welcoming attitude. In the past, if a dog comes up with a health issue during boarding, they go the extra mile to help resolve the issue the quickest way possible.

I started taking my dog to Camp Bow Wow because I sprained my ankle and couldn't walk her. She loves other dogs and took to playing immediately! I also boarded her while I was away for a 5 day trip—she came home and slept for 2 days, lol. The staff is always friendly and happy to see her and she always goes with them happily. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow.
