Had a wonderful first-time experience at the Wake Forest location.
While I do wish the outdoor yards were bigger and they did smaller dog groups, the staff was very nice to Daisy and she got in a lot of socializing time!
I also like that the kennels arenât super see-through like how a chain-link fence would be. It allows more decompression. The luxury suites look great on camera. I would try boarding here if I could get a luxury suite.
I especially liked the gal who was supervising Daisyâs group first in the morning. She gave Daisy (and all the dogs) intermittent affection. She even recognized Daisy when we were leaving and seemed to genuinely like her!! It made my day đ

I love this place! I went in for an interview with my pup, who is always a little skeptical of people at first due to his past. They were so patient and supportive towards him until he was ready to go meet some new pup friends. All the ladies at the front were wonderful and answered all my questions and showed me how to watch him on the cameras. I love how easily accessible their cameras are to access and see all the pups. They had him meet some friends and then join the group. I just canât express how grateful I am for their patience with me and my pup. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Staff Was Very Informative
My dog had a temperament interview on 6/27/26. The first thing I immediately noticed when I walked in was how clean it smelled. Staff and the front entrance was very inviting. I did not get the chance to tour the back, but was able to monitor my dog on camera. His interview went well and the staff was very informative about the entire process. I was also given some free options!

I thought you might call me and say, "Come collect your mayhem muppet. She's herding everyone!" because she can be... umm... bossy. Although she was only there for three hours, you all helped her settle in and she was just fine.

I take my dog to Camp Bow Wow and I honestly couldnât love it more. At drop-off, he practically sprints to the door for his kisses, which says everything. He comes home happily exhausted every single time.
What really sets them apart are the extra touches. He loves the snuggles, photos, and fun scavenger activities that make it feel so much more personal. Their grooming services are also fantastic and super convenient.

Our Golden Retriever, Penelope, is almost 10 years old and still gets so excited to go. She has the best time every visitâplaying, socializing, and coming home happy and tired. It says so much that even at her age, she truly enjoys being there.
One of my favorite features is the camera accessâI can check in on her anytime, which gives me so much peace of mind.
The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and attentive. You can tell they truly love the dogs and treat them like their own. That means everything to me.

This was the first time boarding for Karma. I couldn't be happier. She was so excited to arrive, and all the added activities to help with this boarding truly made a difference. I have been fortunate that I have never had to board my dog (who we have had for three years) because my parents live nearby. We had a family vacation planned, and my parents were unavailable, so we took Kitkat to Camp Bow-Wow.
I loved how they "introduce" the pets to the place/other dogs. The process is great - Kitkat is a girl, so here was the process: Kitkat (on leash) with another girl dog. If it goes well, they go off leash. If that goes well, they bring in a leashed male dog. If that goes well, they are both unleashed. Then they do the male/female dog together, leashed, then unleashed. If it continues, they bring in a few more. Once they pass the friendly test, they put them in the area according to their size.
Well, my dog is a "big" dog, but a weenie. So after a few days of boarding here, there, they moved her to the smaller dog area where she was much more comfortable.
I love that they get to run around inside and outside all day, and play/interact with other dogs. I love that a camp counselor is in the room with them at all times, and is constantly moving around so the dogs don't congregate in one area.
It is very clean, your items are returned to you washed, your dog comes home happy and smelling good! (You can also get them groomed there if you wish.)
