My dog Stormy has been going to Camp Bow Wow for about 6 months. She gets so excited and walks up with a smile every time and can't wait to start playing. All of the staff are very friendly to both myself and Stormy. I have tried other places, and Camp Bow Wow is by far my favorite trusted spot for my precious dog Stormy.

Recently moving to Arizona, we left behind a phenomenal daycare and boarding facility. We didn't think we'd find anything like it, but we have come close with Camp Bow Wow. Our dogs, 10 and 9 years old, have been in daycare since they were 8 weeks old learning socialization skills. The staff at Camp Bow Wow was very friendly; you can tell that they love dogs and were wonderful with ours. The fact that we can check in on them with the cameras is a bonus. They do offer different little activities or specials on a monthly calendar, and on this day they happened to be making homemade popsicles, which my dogs very much enjoyed. We're going to have them groomed there next week. The groomer seems wonderful. It's nice to have one-stop shopping. The fact that all the dogs are temperament tested there, I can't tell you how much and how important that is for us. So far, we've been there one time, and it was a good experience. We did buy a package to return with both of our dogs for several more times, at least for now.

I really wanted to like this camp for my pups. The front desk people were kind as well as the intake people. However, the individual working the room my dogs were in appeared as if he could have cared less about being there. He was aware my dogs were new. I did not see him acknowledge them once nor pay attention to most of the dogs as he was on his phone the majority of the time. My dogs waited by the door waiting to be picked up the entire time. As you can see, some dogs were engaging in humping behavior right next to him while he just sat there. I did voice my concerns but have not yet heard from staff and if anyone tried to reach me, definitely did not leave a message. I'm pretty sure this is not the care you are looking to pay for. This is what the dogs did the entire day. Definitely not the enrichment any dog deserves or you want to be paying for. I would like to update my review of Camp Bow Wow. I had a very nice conversation with the manager Anthony. He was understanding, professional, and made no excuses for the former employee's behavior. This situation was handled promptly and I appreciated the follow-up phone call. I will be willing to give this camp another try in the future. I appreciate their honesty and commitment to improve their camp.

This review is to not only recommend Camp Bow Wow (Scottsdale) to all the pet parents out there but to give a big shout-out to Marnie! As an anxious pet parent, I decided to call the Camp to check in on how my dog (Goldie) was doing. Marnie (aka the 'Zoomies Coordinator') was wonderful—she reassured me that Goldie was being well taken care of. Marnie even provided a detailed report on Goldie's temperament and her eating/sleeping behaviors, which gave me peace of mind. Phew. You can tell the folks at CBW really love animals. I recommend Camp Bow Wow!

Great Place for Your Fur Babies Feb 14, 2025

Camp Bow Wow North Scottsdale is a great place for your fur babies! All of the human staff are very personable, LOVE the dogs, professional, and attentive to both the humans and dogs' needs. Each month they have fun themed events and enrichment activities you can purchase, they have cameras in each play yard for ease of mind while your fur baby is there, and they have excellent boarding suites (also with cameras). My fur baby loves coming here to play each week, and sleep occasionally when I travel. I would (and have!) highly recommend Camp Bow Wow North Scottsdale to my fellow dog parents!

I previously posted the review below in 2021. Since Google doesn't seem to allow me to add a NEW review for an existing place, I am editing this one to include the original and updated one! Most recent review (2/12/2025): I still LOVE this place. My dog is my best friend/love of my life (I know... I am "that" person) and everybody here treats him with just as much love and care. It's by far the best place and I am so thankful to have found them years ago. They are like family :) Original review (2021): I love everything about Camp Bow Wow - the entire staff is incredible and I am very lucky to have found the N. Phoenix Camp Bow Wow location. My dog goes several times a week and it's worth every dollar. I know he is treated so well when he is there and he loves going there. Camp Bow Wow is an amazing place and I would not take my dog anywhere else. He loves everybody there so much and so do I!

Friendly staff. I appreciate the time they take to make sure your pet is safe. Slowly introducing them to the other dogs in the play area. Nice, clean, large play areas. Dogs are separated by size and temperament.
