Dog Daycare Services Near Westmoreland County
Real Supervision, Real Fun & A Better Day for Your Dog
Your dog doesn’t have to spend the day home alone. At Camp Bow Wow® Pittsburgh East, we’ve turned dog day care into something dogs genuinely love: CampLife. It’s structured, supervised open play in roomy indoor and outdoor yards where dogs run, socialize, and come home worn out in the best possible way. Conveniently located near the intersection of Rt. 22 and Rt. 286, we serve dog owners from Murrysville, Monroeville, Export, Greensburg, and across Westmoreland County.
Every day at Camp is staffed by our Certified Camp Counselors®, trained in dog behavior, pet CPR, and pet first aid. From the moment your dog arrives to the moment you pick them up, someone who knows dogs is watching, guiding, and helping keep play positive throughout the day.

The CampLife Experience
CampLife isn’t just supervised playtime. It’s a structured day designed around your dog’s personality, energy level, and social style: from the first introduction to the last romp before pickup.
We Get to Know Your Dog Before Day One
Every new dog starts with a free Camper Interview. Our Certified Camp Counselors® assess your dog’s personality, play style, and comfort level with other dogs, then match them to the play group that fits them best. We introduce them to the environment gradually, at a pace that keeps them relaxed. After the interview, you’ll receive a short report with our counselors’ observations. The Camper Interview is free, and your dog’s first day of Camp is on us.
Supervised Play, All Day Long
Our Certified Camp Counselors® are present throughout the day, dividing dogs into groups by size, personality, and energy level so interactions stay natural and enjoyable. When play gets too rough or a dog needs a redirect, counselors step in with calm, consistent guidance to keep things positive.
Scheduled rest breaks are built into the day to prevent overstimulation and keep energy balanced from morning to pickup. As your dog grows and their preferences evolve, we adjust their play group accordingly. Whether they want to run laps, hang back and watch, or get some one-on-one time, our counselors help each dog feel included and comfortable.
Clean, Climate-Controlled Facilities
Every part of our facility, including rest areas, activity yards, water bowls, and toys, is cleaned and sanitized daily with dog-safe products. Indoor and outdoor play areas are climate-controlled, so your dog is comfortable no matter the season.

Why Dog Daycare Makes a Difference
Dogs left home alone for long stretches can develop excess energy, boredom, and habits that are hard to break. A day at Camp can help with that. Here’s what regular dog day care can do for your pup:
- Exercise that matters: Spacious play yards and structured activity help dogs burn energy, which can support a healthy weight and may reduce restless or destructive behavior at home.
- Socialization in a controlled setting: Whether your dog is a natural social butterfly or still building confidence, interacting with other dogs and people in a supervised environment supports positive behavioral development.
- Mental stimulation: New scents, environments, and structured play keep dogs cognitively engaged. For dogs who love to explore, our enrichment programs add another layer of mental challenge.
- A consistent pack: Dogs who attend regularly build bonds with other Campers and with our counselors. That familiarity can be helpful when overnight care is needed, too. Our dog boarding includes Day Camp, so your dog spends their stay with familiar faces in a place they already know.
We also offer grooming alongside daycare, making Camp Bow Wow Pittsburgh East a single destination for Westmoreland County dog owners who want to check more than one box on a single trip.
