The Camper Interview & Play Grouping

Every dog completes a Camper Interview before joining the open-play environment. Our Certified Camp Counselors® use that session to assess each dog’s temperament, play style, and comfort level. From there, dogs are grouped by size, energy, and personality so every interaction feels natural rather than overwhelming. Temperament-based grouping is one of the most important safety standards in professional dog care, and it’s built into each Camp day.

Our Camp Counselors aren’t just dog lovers. They’re trained in dog behavior, pet CPR, and pet first aid, so they’re equipped to read a room and respond quickly. Supervision is continuous throughout the day, keeping play safe and energy balanced.

What a Day at Camp Looks Like

From drop-off to pick-up, time at Camp is intentional. Social playgroups match dogs with compatible companions under continuous Certified Camp Counselor supervision.

For dogs that thrive with a little one-on-one time alongside group play, we offer individual enrichment add-on sessions at $15 each, or $100 for a package of 10:

• Sniff and Sneek: A guided mental stimulation activity that lets your dog follow their nose and work their brain
• Snuggle Time: Dedicated one-on-one bonding with a Camp Counselor for dogs that need a quieter moment in their day
• Play Pals: High-energy individual play for dogs that love undivided attention
• Brain Games: Cognitive challenges that keep sharp minds engaged

Each session runs 15 minutes and can be added to any Camp day. Medication administration is also available at no extra charge.
