These people were fantastic! We hope to do some day care drop-offs and boarding around the holidays, so we did the assessment of our pup with crossed fingers he would do well enough. His report was 50/50, but what I viewed of them was brilliant. I’m a big “it takes a village,” and this is what I witnessed. They all worked together with the dogs and had no hesitation giving corrections to any dog acting out of line, but also not freaking out when the dogs were just being dogs. They allowed them to play and run around, monitoring the whole time. I look forward to more visits with them and us all helping to make my dog the best he can be.

My dog, Teddy, absolutely loves Camp Bow Wow. We go out of town a lot, so they are his second family. In fact, he likes them so much that we occasionally put him in the half- or full-day daycare when he is bored here with this heat. They have indoor playrooms by size. The enrichment time (i.e., snuggles and play) you can order is special, and they send pics. All I can say is when we pull up, he drags us inside (which is not easy for a Cavapoo), gives us the "see ya and you can go now" look, and runs in.

My Little Pug Biscuit’s Favorite Place
My little pug, Biscuit’s, favorite place to go is Camp Bow Wow in Mansfield, TX. He loves the interaction with all the dogs! The facility is nice and clean, and the employees are friendly and appear to love the dogs! He gets so excited as we are pulling into the parking lot! I find myself spending lots of time watching the cam available for owners to watch from home!

I had a great experience! The staff are so friendly and patient with the dogs. My puppy was feeling very anxious at first, but the staff let him warm up to the other puppies and gave him time and support. They are very informed on dog health and caring for the dogs.

Overall great place but a bit pricey
Had our dog stay there for 4 days and the place seemed nice, plenty of room for dogs. They have a play area, an outside area and so therefore, the dogs are not locked up all the time, which is good. I think the pre-screening test was great to filter out the bad unsociable dogs. They also did an exit dog wash and dry (optional extra fee). Overall great place but a bit pricey.

I thought the experience was great with some caveats. I wish they did more enrichment with the dogs rather than communal play. Not all dogs like to play with others; some like human interaction, and just from what I observed, the attendant was on her cell phone and the dogs were laying around and the ball was literally behind her, so the dogs looked bored. However, I will say this is a rarity to find with dog daycares.

I adopted my cava poo Teddy. He had been in a crate constantly before I got him and so separation anxiety. That is until I pull up to Camp Bowwow. He runs and throws his body against the gate to try to get in. Turns to me I'm sure he's saying, "See you later, Mom, no rush." Bittersweet I'll tell you, but it also allows me to relax and know he's gonna have a blast. Does this look like a dog that is angsting? This is my first Google review so hope the pic goes through. It says it all.

Archer Loves His Daycare Day
Being an “only doodle,” Archer was bored at home, so we decided to try our Camp Bow Wow’s daycare. It is great. Watching the thorough process of vetting new day campers really helped, because we know that Archer will not encounter any overly aggressive dogs. The owners and staff are wonderful. You can tell they really care about your fur baby. Archer loves his daycare day at Camp Bow Wow.
