Account FAQs

Managing your dog’s care from your phone is easy with the Camp Bow Wow app. Once you create an account, you can customize your Camper’s profile and care preferences, request reservations, and pull up our live webcams to check in on your pup during the day. Everything is in one place, so you’re never left guessing about what’s happening at Camp.

Dog Daycare FAQs

Our Houston Greater Heights location maintains specific vaccination requirements to keep every dog in the play yard healthy and safe. Before your dog can join us, they’ll need to be current on the following:

  • DHPP: protects against Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
  • Bivalent Canine Influenza

We also recommend an annual Leptospirosis vaccine alongside DHPP. All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age to attend daycare. Once your pup is cleared, our certified Camp Counselors monitor group play throughout the day to keep things safe and engaging. You can check the live webcams during business hours any time you want a peek at what your dog is up to.

Dog Boarding FAQs

Dog Boarding at Camp Bow Wow Houston Greater Heights looks nothing like a traditional kennel stay. Boarding dogs spend the day in open group play in our indoor and outdoor play yards alongside their daycare friends. In the evening, each dog retires to their own individual Cabin with a cozy cot, a fleece blanket, and a Campfire Treat. The same vaccination requirements that apply to daycare apply to boarding as well.

Medications
We can administer oral and topical medications at no charge when they’re provided in the original prescription bottle. Our Camp Counselors aren’t able to administer injected medications, so please plan accordingly before a boarding stay.

Deposits & Cancellations
A 50% deposit is collected on all boarding stays of five nights or more. Cancel at least five days before your reservation and you’ll receive a full refund of that deposit. Cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours of the boarding date forfeit the deposit. Holiday periods fill up fast, so we encourage early booking to reserve your dog’s Cabin.

Dog Training FAQs

Camp Bow Wow offers reward-based training programs designed for dogs of every age and skill level. Positive reinforcement means your dog learns good behaviors through encouragement rather than correction. Training is available in a few formats: group classes, private lessons, and training that takes place while your dog attends Camp. Give us a call and we can let you know what’s currently available at our Houston Greater Heights location.

Dog Grooming FAQs

Our Dog Grooming services are available whether your dog needs a little polish after a day of play or is coming in for a standalone appointment. Full-service grooming covers a bath, brush and blowout, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and a haircut, with pricing based on your dog’s weight from small to extra-large. If your dog doesn’t need the full treatment, add-on services, including nail trims, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression, are each available separately. Dogs coming in for grooming must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccinations.

Ready to Get Your Pup Started?

Every new dog goes through a Camper Interview before joining the group, which lets us confirm they’re a good fit for open play and gives us a chance to answer any remaining questions in person. Our all-inclusive pricing means no surprise charges when you pick up. If something on this page sparked a new question, we’d love to hear it.

Call Camp Bow Wow Houston Greater Heights at (346) 472-4279 to schedule a Camper Interview or get answers before your first visit.
