Every animal deserves a long, healthy, and happy life. Camp Bow Wow has always been committed to giving back to animals in need. One of the ways we do this is through the Bow Wow Buddies® Foundation.
Helping Pups and Parents in Need
Every year, so many pups are unable to receive urgent and necessary medical care due to high treatment costs. As a result, numerous dogs are left in pain or are tragically lost due to their medical issues.
The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation is Camp Bow Wow’s nonprofit organization that supports the health and happiness of our dogs. Through this foundation we are able to offer a second chance to sick and injured animals in need - helping them get back on their paws and hopefully prevent the loss of dogs across the country.
We give back to those dog parents who are unable to foot their vet bills, as well as shelters and rescue groups that need assistance to provide medical care to sick pups waiting to be adopted.
Bow Wow Buddies Grants
The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation awards up to $2,500 to dogs in need of treatment for conditions including:
- Broken bones
- Emergency services
- Abdominal obstructions
- Cancer
- Enucleation
- Amputation
- Other life-altering procedures
Individuals may apply for a grant on our website. Your application will require a photo of your pup as well as a current estimate of treatment costs from your veterinarian. Our applications are viewed on the 1st and the 15th of every month and you will be notified shortly after if your grant has been approved.
