Camp Bow Wow Welcomes New President

We’re thrilled to announce that Camp Bow Wow officially has a new “top dog” in the form of our recently appointed President, Cail Morrison!

“Cail’s strong grasp on the franchise industry as well as his passion and willingness to dive right into our dog-centric business makes him the ideal candidate to take on this role,” said Doug Drew, president of VCA Animal Hospitals and Petcare Services, the parent company of Camp Bow Wow.

Cail Morrison — A Franchise Veteran

Before joining the Camp Bow Wow pack, Morrison was the vice president of Anytime Fitness’ North American franchise operations. Over the course of 11 years, he elevated the company to be one of the most prominent fitness franchises. Together with his team, Morrison drove profitability for more than 2,600 Anytime Fitness North American franchise locations and opened an average of 200 new locations each year, according to officials.

Future Goals and Vision

As the new top dog of Camp Bow Wow, Morrison hit the ground running. His first goal is to focus on increasing unit level revenue and profitability. He also plans to leverage new technologies not currently being utilized at Camp Bow Wow in order to accelerate system growth. Along with his many years of franchise expertise, Morrison comes with a fresh pair of eyes and unique perspective.

“I’m thrilled to join the Camp Bow Wow team where there is not only great opportunity for growth on individual and company-wide levels, but it’s also a place where everyone has a passion for what they do,” Morrison said. “I believe franchising gives people the opportunity to be their own boss, do something they love, and live a balanced life. It’s our job to create a path in which all of this can happen together. That’s the fun part for me, and I’m excited to use my previous knowledge to help grow and to simultaneously learn from the thriving pet industry.”
