Camp Bow Wow takes great care of my dog Mar 12, 2026

Camp Bow Wow takes absolutely great care of my dog Charlie. Charlie can be timid and protective, but all of the employees know to give him space and to let Charlie come to them when he's comfortable. I'm so happy we found Camp Bow Wow as it helps Charlie socialize and is a valuable option for daycare and boarding.

It's awesome to know that there are trained staff on site Mar 5, 2026

After having some distrust and care issues with PetSmart's Day Camp, we decided to try Camp Bow Wow. Right from the start the employees were super helpful and friendly on the phone. They set up an interview with my pupper Shadow for the next day. Upon walking in they asked if my dog's name was "Shadow" before I could say anything, which tells me they care to know who's walking in the door. After meeting Shadow in the lobby, they informed me that I can watch him on the monitor as he is introduced to the other dogs. They then took him into the back so they could slowly introduce him to the pack. It was awesome to see him open up and immediately make a new friend. They ended up keeping my boy for about 3 hours until they did the one thing that PetSmart never did, which was actually call me to let me know that something had happened. Turns out Shadow got so excited playing with all his new friends that he bit his own tongue, which is very common for dogs to do. I love how the staff immediately called me to let me know what had happened and that they were doing what they could to provide him first aid. It's awesome to know that there are trained staff on site that can take care of an injury when it happens. Thanks again for the smooth process, and I know Shadow can't wait to come back. Thank you for also looking after his injury and notifying me right away.

We Can’t Recommend Them Highly Enough Jan 2, 2026

We were worried we would never find a place willing to board our dog, as he can be aggressive toward other dogs on walks and we avoid dog parks altogether. Camp Bow Wow was willing to give him a chance, even when we weren’t very hopeful it would work. Remarkably, after just a couple of visits (which Camp Bow Wow generously did not charge us for) he began to relax and loosen up around other dogs. Now he’s genuinely excited to be dropped off overnight. We’re amazed watching him on their live cameras calmly walking around with twenty or so other dogs. It’s like he’s a completely different dog when he’s there. The staff are incredibly friendly and always make our dog feel special when we drop him off. We feel truly fortunate to have Camp Bow Wow and their amazing team available to us and can’t recommend them highly enough.

A blessing to find this place Nov 20, 2025

I've been taking my rescue dog to Camp Bow Wow on Galindo in Concord for about 3 years. The fact that I am writing another positive review, after so much time, is testimony to CBW's reliability and to the continued, dependable, friendly, and informed care of my dear pooch. I have no worries about leaving him there. The folks there make sure all the dogs that keep him company will not be a danger to him, either medically or behaviorally. When I first took him there, he was scared to go. Now, he runs into the attending counselor's arms. What a blessing it has been to find this place, these people.
