Our Boise Team

  • Beth & Greg Owner

A couple of the most frequently asked questions I receive while giving a tour of our camp is, “Why did you decide to do this? “, and “Why Camp Bow Wow?” It’s pretty simple really. Greg and I love animals! We decided to make it our living since it was already our passion.

We decided Camp Bow Wow was a great alternative for people who travel and need overnight boarding for their dogs. We used to travel a lot and our children would come into our home and watch our many animals. A funny thing happened. They grew up and now have families of their own. Greg and I decided we wanted to help other dog (and animal) guardians by offering an alternative to traditional boarding. We give furry family members a home away from home. We also have day camp, where a dog can be a dog!

  • Landrey Joined Our Pack in 2021 Manager

Meet our Manager, Landrey! Landrey and her fluffy sidekicks Archie and Tank have been with Camp Bow Wow Boise since 2021. Landrey truly enjoys every day she spends at Camp, and she loves working hard around Camp to make it the best place for pups, their paw-rents, and the Camp Counselors!

Landrey joined our pack shortly after graduating school, but her loves for animals started at birth, and has only grown with her. She's always wanted to land in a career working with animals. Her parents are both animal lovers and taught her early on about the special kind of love and bond that only a dog can offer. Archie is her perfect example of that bond. She is a cosmetologist as well, but found that she prefers dog fur rather than human hair on her clothes at the end of the day!

Outside of Camp, when she’s missing the pups at work, she enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her fiancé Ryan, and Archie and Tank.

  • Sam Joined Our Pack in 2016 Shift Lead

Sam joined our pack in 2016 after driving by, and she has loved every moment of her job since! Sam started as a Camp Counselor, but her strong leadership skills and attention to detail made her a perfect fit for a role as a Camp Counselor Lead! For about 4 years she also enjoyed working as Marketing Coordinator, stepping down in 2026 to dedicate more time to completing her bachelor's degree.

Sam credits her love of dogs two her two childhood dachshunds, Sadie and Buddy, who were her whole world well into her young adult life. Because of them, she gets so excited to see the dachshunds that come through Camp's doors! Sam adores all of our amazing Campers. She loves creating bonds with the dogs, and loves them as if they are her own!

Outside of Camp, Sam enjoys spending time with her friends, family, her husband Rob and their vizsla Goose! You can find Sam frequenting local theaters, studying hard at BSU in Anthropology, and snuggling up with her velcro fur baby Goose!

  • Alyson Joined Our Pack in 2024! Assistant Manager

Alyson joined our pack in 2024 as a Camp Counselor and quickly worked her way up to Shift Lead, and then Assistant Manager in January 2026. She loves getting to come to work every day and seeing all of the happy pups who walk through the doors. Her love for animals began at a young age through rescue work alongside her mom with Georgia English Bulldog Rescue. Weekends were often spent picking up dogs from shelters, transporting them to vet appointments or foster and forever homes, and helping at adoption events. Her family also had a revolving door of foster dogs, many of whom had complex medical needs, which helped shape her passion for animal care from an early age. Alyson loves helping shy or nervous Campers feel comfortable and welcomed, and watching their confidence grow over time. Her favorite part of the job is the relationships she gets to build not only with the dogs, but with their owners as well. Outside of work, Alyson enjoys spending time with her border collie, Froggy, studying for her degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and exploring new places outdoors.
