We absolutely love having Camp Bow Wow Mar 26, 2026

We absolutely love having Camp Bow Wow as an outlet for our dog Stevie Ray to socialize and have an activity that has him squealing with joy when he gets there. We like being able to take him there if it's raining, too hot, or too cold to get him outside for exercise, or any other time he needs something to do. He's a Cattle Dog and needs lots of activity to keep his "working dog" brain satisfied. The fact that we can check in on him through the day on the camera feed is fantastic. The other thing that we love is the fact that there are other locations throughout the country that you can use when traveling without having to get him re-vetted to qualify to take him there because his vaccinations and records are transferable. We have been very pleased with the staff friendliness and kindness at the West Des Moines location. One other point we like is that most of the time we are able to take him there on a drop-in basis without a reservation, except for the major holidays and spring break.

Camp Bow Wow Is More Than Daycare Jan 27, 2026

Camp Bow Wow has been an incredible source of support for our family. I recently brought home two puppies and needed help about once a week. The onboarding process was easy and seamless, and from day one, the staff made everything feel welcoming and reassuring. Dropping off Lothar and Leena each morning gave me complete peace of mind. Tragically, we lost Leena, and during that difficult time, Lothar stopped eating. The compassion and care shown by the Camp Bow Wow team went above and beyond—they supported us through the transition to becoming a one-dog family and even hand-fed Lothar to make sure he was nourished while he was grieving. I was very worried about him, so I increased his attendance to ensure he had consistent care, comfort, and social support while he healed. I am deeply grateful for the kindness, patience, and genuine love the staff showed during such a painful time. Camp Bow Wow is more than daycare—it’s a community that truly cares about the dogs and the families they serve. 💛

We love daycare! The socialization for our puppy has been incredibly helpful, and it’s such good exercise it helps when we can’t get outside to get the energy out. The staff are helpful and our puppy loves them all.
