Whenever we travel, we entrust our Talula to Camp Bow Wow. The best sign that this is a place where she feels safe and happy is the way she just trots on in there when we drop her off. (Talula is the "stretch" beagle in the photos.) We highly recommend Camp Bow Wow South Asheville.

First time using their services and I would recommend 100% to anyone looking for a local spot to board your pup. They kept my dog Ivy for three days and two nights, and judging from the adorable pictures they emailed me daily, she had a great time. Staff are very helpful, and everyone seems to just really like dogs. I had no intention prior to this experience of using their day camp services regularly, but after seeing how tired Ivy was when I got her home, I think that I am going to bring her by once a week.

Camp Bow Wow AVL is the BEST!!! My husband and I are only living here for a few months for part of my residency, and I will truly be sad when we leave. We have two dogs and they absolutely LOVE going to daycare. We have also boarded them multiple times and they have been so well cared for. Brittany is an awesome manager; you can tell she values the health and happiness of all the campers. We are so thankful we had this team to help support us during our time here! They feel like family because they love our dogs so well.

She gets to play all day. That gives us great peace of mind. The prices may be a little higher for that, but to us it is worth it.

My dog loves going here! Staff is very friendly and caring, especially Brittany. She was able to answer all of my questions. She remembers owners/dogs and easily checks us in and out for the day. She is on top of everything. We've met an owner as well, and she was very friendly and caring.
We understand plans may change. To cancel a day care reservation, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to manage our schedule efficiently and offer the spot to another dog in need of care.
Is a reservation required for day care?
Yes, a reservation is required to ensure we can accommodate your dog and provide the best care possible. You can easily make a reservation by calling us or using our online booking system.
Do you provide meals for dogs?
We recommend bringing your dog's preferred food to maintain diet consistency. If needed, we can feed your dog with provided meals at scheduled times. However, we do not provide dog food as part of the day care service.
Are vaccinations required for day care?
Yes, we require up-to-date vaccinations for all dogs attending day care. This policy helps maintain a healthy environment for all our canine guests. Please provide records of vaccinations such as rabies, distemper, and Bordetella.
