What a Day at Camp Looks Like

Before your dog ever joins group play, they go through the Camp interview. This conversation and temperament check helps our Camp Counselors understand your dog’s personality, social history, and any needs we should know about. It also helps confirm that your dog is a compatible fit for our Camper community. Many dogs move through this process smoothly and may be ready to start within the same visit.

A Typical Day of Play & Rest

A typical care day is a mix of active time and rest. Campers move between indoor and outdoor play areas, interacting freely with other dogs under the continuous supervision of our Camp Counselors. Play groups are managed to keep energy levels appropriate and to help prevent the kind of over-arousal that can lead to conflict. When dogs need a break, they get one. That rhythm of activity and recovery is intentional.

For dogs who need more than physical exercise, Dog Enrichment activities are woven into the day. These exercises engage problem-solving, scent work, and other instinct-driven behaviors that physical play alone doesn’t always address. A dog who’s been both physically tired and mentally engaged can go home in a genuinely good state.

Boarding Campers follow the same active-day structure and then retire to their cabins in the evening.
