My dog Pluto gets so excited every time we turn off of Pinhook headed to camp. He always knows exactly where we're going, and the excited yips he lets out are always so precious! I recently got a second dog and everyone on staff was overjoyed to meet and welcome him to the camp family! Everyone on staff is incredible and I wouldn't trust anyone else to help care for my boys! Every time we walk in, everyone at the front drops what they're doing to greet us, and they pride themselves on remembering who my dogs played with to give me the most precious summary of how my babies' day was. My terrier mix LOVES the camp! She literally drags me in and jumps at the door to the back till they let her in. I can watch her on the video cams whenever she's in the play yard. I feel very comfortable leaving her here! If there is a concern, they call me. I forgot Shadow's pillow once, and they supplied her with one! I always have peace of mind when I walk out that door! Wish I lived closer and could bring her for an occasional play day.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Heather at Camp Bow Wow Lafayette! She always does an amazing job grooming my baby, Chanel. Every time I pick her up, she looks beautiful, smells fresh, and is so happy! It’s clear that Mrs. Heather truly loves what she does and cares deeply for the dogs she works with.

Great people that work here! They maintain a very clean facility and give their clients a lot of attention. Sam, my springer spaniel, just stayed four nights, and Camp Bow Wow sent me pictures every night of him getting lots of attention. He looked so happy. We booked a one-night stay for our pup Gatsby at Camp Bow Wow and had a great experience! The staff was super friendly and made drop-off and pick-up easy and stress-free. Gatsby can be a little picky about new environments, but he seemed comfortable and happy when we picked him up. It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands, getting playtime and attention while we were away. We’ll definitely be back for future stays.

Shadow is always well cared for
I have brought my terrier mix to Camp Bow Wow several times, and my dog absolutely LOVES it there! Last week, my husband sustained an injury on July 3rd requiring a lengthy hospital stay. I called Camp B W and explained the situation, and they found room for my dog. I dropped her off and didn't have to worry. They contacted me to let me know that she was not eating, and that they were taking turns hand feeding her every other day to make sure she ate SOMETHING. I explained that she had been off her feed for about 2 weeks and not eating every day. Could be the heat because I would not take her out as often, so she was not getting the usual amount of exercise. I thanked them for their diligence and caring! Shadow was really glad to be home, but only for about 2-3 hours. She looks like she is ready to return! LOL! I wish we lived closer to Lafayette so that it was easier for her to go more often for 'playdates' instead of only when I am out of town. My Shadow is ALWAYS well cared for when staying there and she LOVES it! In fact, I have to be careful not to mention the camp in conversation because she gets so excited that it takes a very long time to calm her down. And then she ignores me for several hours. I have taken my dog to another kennel and she was frantic after just 2 or 3 days there. I have never been disappointed with Camp Bow Wow, and they have always done their best to accommodate me. A+ all around. Friendly staff, clean facility, and they are excellent at placing the dogs together in the play yards!

I had to drop off George due to a minor medical issue. I called Bow Wow early 7:00 a.m. Luckily, Bow Wow had room. I dropped G. off early and picked him shortly after lunch. As always, he was well treated and enjoyed his day with the other pups.

Our girl Stella LOVES to go to Camp Bow Wow, she just goes crazy when we get there! We have only had one issue one time where a new worker was spraying water for every little thing on the dogs. Other than that one time, we have never had another issue. We are thankful we have them to bring our baby dog to when we are away and that we don't have to worry about her being taken care of. I have used other Camp Bow locations but never been “WOWED” like this location. Friendly staff, easy check-in, clean. Staff actually interacted with my fur baby on the camper cams. Camper cams work! I purchased ball pit activity and the pics and videos I received were amazing. I felt so great knowing my fur baby was getting great care! They also gave him a bath and he was ready right on time for me to pick up. We will be back!!

My dog came home from her introduction to Camp Bow Wow happy and exhausted! I was able to observe her numerous times on the app on my phone, and she was happily playing with other dogs except during mandatory lunch/rest time. She was having a BLAST! I felt quite comfortable leaving her there because I was impressed with the setup on my walkthrough. It was nice to see her having so much fun! She WILL be returning for boarding whenever we go out of town! OR if I feel she needs a play day now and again. Great place! My daughter uses the Camp in New Orleans for her dog when needed, too!

Fully Enriched and Loved
By far the best boarding for my fur babies. The staff are very attentive, my babies are fully enriched and loved as if they belong to the camp counselors. One of my babies experiences separation anxiety and doesn’t eat when I am away. Camp Bow Wow asked if they can add a little bone broth to his meals to encourage him to eat and I absolutely love that! He eats and plays so well that I’m at ease when he’s at camp. Thank you Camp Bow Wow!
