CampLife gives dogs a supervised place to play, interact, and take breaks while their pet parents manage work and daily commitments.

CampLife can benefit dogs through:

Regular exercise that supports a healthy weight
Relief from boredom, separation anxiety, and destructive behavior at home
More opportunities to socialize with dogs and people
A stimulating routine that promotes overall happiness

Many pups also benefit from a consistent Camp routine. With regular visits, your dog can become comfortable with our team and settle into a familiar rhythm of activity and rest. That familiarity can also ease the transition when your dog returns for boarding or other services.

What to Expect During Your Dog’s First Day at Camp

We guide you and your pup through each step, from the initial screening to pickup.

Arrival & Daily Routine

After confirming vaccinations and completing our Camper Interview, we introduce your pup slowly to our play yards so they can meet new friends at their own pace.

Throughout the day, your dog moves between active play, rest periods, and potty breaks. Our team monitors each transition to help limit overstimulation and help your pup stay comfortable.

Updates at Pickup

When you return, our team can tell you how your dog adjusted, who they played with, and how they spent their time at Camp. These updates give first-time pet parents a clearer picture of how their pup responded to dog day care.

Safety Standards Behind Every Day at Camp

Before joining group play, each pup must meet our health and screening requirements. We then match Campers with play groups based on factors such as size, temperament, and energy level, giving them opportunities to socialize in a supervised open-play environment.

Our team learns how your dog likes to play, when they need a break, and which group offers the best fit. Regular rest periods and close observation help keep the day engaging without becoming overwhelming.

Our safety and visibility measures include:

Certified Camp Counselors^® who are extensively trained in dog behavior, pet CPR, and pet first aid
Assurance that all our Campers have passed the Camper Interview, are spayed or neutered, and are current on vaccinations. Learn about our Bordetella policy
Live Camper Cams℠ that allow you to check in on your pup on your computer or mobile device

From careful screening and play-group matching to supervised activity and rest, we give Joliet-area pet parents a dependable daytime routine for their dogs from our Plainfield location. You can also use Live Camper Cams℠ to check in while your pup enjoys CampLife.
