Pickles spent her first night there. She came home the next morning and slept the entire day, so I don't know how she did sleeping there. Was she up all night? I had to clean her beard as it was gooey, but overall I like the place.

The people working there are so nice and well trained in handling all sizes and breeds of dogs, they took mine back to try and integrate with other dogs, and they were so patient and knew exactly which dogs would match other dogs energy for energy. The place is extremely clean, they are constantly cleaning up accidents, and when they close at the end of the day, the whole place is scrubbed down top to bottom. I would highly recommend this place even just for day care, these dogs play all day long and come home exhausted.

My 96# Goldendoodle goes to Bow Wow at least once a week. All I have to say is “Do you want to go?” and Sammy’s getting his leash. He is very happy there. The staff love dogs. Camp Bow Wow is an excellent place to take your dog or dogs. My wife and I have 4 Morkies, and we have brought them to Camp Bow Wow twice now, and it's been a wonderful experience both for us and our 4 dogs. They love it there. John and his great team there are very experienced, and you can truly see they love dogs in the way your dogs are welcomed in and when you pick them up. 100% I'd recommend anyone to bring their dogs to Camp Bow Wow; they are certainly the best choice instead of taking your dog to a kennel!!

Hank Loves Camp Bow Wow
Hank has been going to Camp Bow Wow for a few years now (since they opened). He loves it and we can tell they love him! We started sending him because he was a puppy and had more energy than we could keep up with. He loves being able to interact with other dogs and he comes home and takes a good nap! I love that I can watch him throughout the day on the Camper Cams to see what he's doing. The staff is very friendly and, of course, all dog lovers like we are. They group the dogs by size and there’s always a staff member in the room with them. It’s very clean (a mop and bucket in every room) and I always see the staff take a minute to pet the pups. I like the special events they have for the campers and pictures they take on holidays. Keep up the good work!

My Dog Came Home So Tired
We recently boarded our dog there for 8 days and there was so much comfort knowing he would be taken care of. There are cameras in the play area so you can check on your dog anytime to see what they are doing. It’s also the only place that you don’t have to pay extra for your dog to be in camp. Most places make you pay extra for that, and if you don’t, then they sit in a cage except for maybe a little walk during bathroom breaks. My dog came home so tired from his stay there because he played all day!

What Doggie Boarding at Camp Bow Wow Joliet Actually Looks Like
Before any new Camper joins overnight dog boarding in Plainfield, they complete a Camper Interview. This temperament screening helps confirm that dogs in the play group are compatible and comfortable before group play begins. It’s one of the clearest differences between open-play boarding and a standard kennel stay.
From there, a typical boarding day follows a natural rhythm: drop-off, group play in our indoor and outdoor yards, supervised rest periods throughout the day, and then each pup settling into their individual Cabin for the night.
