Every day at Camp is built around more than just a place for dogs to wait. Our spacious indoor and outdoor play yards give dogs room to run, explore, and interact with other Campers throughout the day. Certified Camp Counselors are present during play to support healthy interaction, encourage exercise, and help keep dogs engaged and comfortable.
The daily experience balances activity with rest. Dogs move between play and downtime in a structured environment rather than staying in one place all day. We think of Camp as a home-away-from-home, and that means giving each pup attention, socialization, and quieter moments during their stay.

From her very first day, my dog absolutely loved it here—she came home happily exhausted! I recently boarded her for four days, and having access to the webcams gave me such peace of mind while I was away. The staff is incredibly friendly and truly treats her like one of their own. Every time she visits, they give me sweet updates about the new doggy friends she’s made. I also love adding the extra activities; getting photo updates during the day is easily the highlight of my afternoon! We’ve used them several times now with zero complaints, and I will definitely continue bringing her back for daycare. Highly recommend!

When I drop him off in the morning, the first thing he does is give the attendant that comes to greet him a big doggy hug and then off he goes with no looking back.
When I pick him up he won't leave till he gives a goodbye hug.

This really is like a camp for dogs. I was very reluctant to kennel my pups and have always traveled with them rather than leave them in a regular kennel. They loved the day trial, and we were so happy to see them having fun on web cams. Have already booked them an extended stay.

My pup Frankie loves going to daycare at Camp Bow Wow! She loves playing with the other dogs, and she has warmed up to the staff (which really speaks to how caring they are because Frankie is usually scared of everyone). They send me photo updates every so often, and I love being able to check the cameras to see my girl playing with her friends. I wish the packages were a little more discounted, but overall it is an excellent value and they take really good care of the dogs.

We took our dogs here to be bathed and were absolutely satisfied with the outcome. Our GSDs were handled properly and we got genuine feedback upon departure. I can only speak for the bathing department as of right now, but I got to see the daycare cams on the TV in the lobby and they looked well organized and well managed. The dogs were having fun and weren’t overwhelmed. When I walked in the lobby, it smelled pleasant, and you wouldn’t even think it was a dog facility. I think (Nicole?) bathed our dogs, and she was very professional, informational, and friendly. We will absolutely be back!

Braylon always comes home so happy! And sometimes tired, but this boy has an unusual amount of energy. The camp counselors are all so friendly and are so gentle and loving with him. He has epilepsy and they make sure he takes his meds and everything. We love Camp Bow Wow!

Getting Your Dog Ready for Camp
Before joining the care environment at our Frederick location, every dog completes a Camper Interview. This initial visit helps us understand your dog’s temperament and play style, and it confirms that group care is a good fit before their first full day.
All Campers must be current on required vaccinations, and dogs seven months and older must be spayed or neutered. Our Frederick location specifically requires the Bordetella and Canine Influenza vaccines. Bringing current vaccination records to the interview keeps the process moving smoothly.
Once your dog is enrolled, you can count on a clean and well-maintained environment. Facility areas, equipment, water bowls, and toys are cleaned and sanitized daily using pet-safe products. Our Certified Camp Counselors are trained in dog behavior, pet CPR, and pet first aid to support care throughout every visit.
The Camp Bow Wow app lets you customize your dog’s Camper profile, submit reservation requests, and access Live Camper Cams from your phone. The app brings your dog’s care tools together in one place.
