If you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers! See below for some of the answers to the frequently asked questions we’ve received from current and prospective franchisees:

  • We currently have over 220 open locations in the United States and one in Canada.

  • We're selling locations in Canada, please review our Canadian available locations. Please feel free to contact our Franchise Development Team to discuss any international opportunities.

  • The startup investment for a Camp Bow Wow franchise is all inclusive and ranged from $1,216,577 to $2,037,471* in 2024 as detailed in the most current FDD. Startup costs depend on a variety of factors including the size of your facility, construction costs and your local market and may be lower or higher than the range from 2024 shared above. 

  • The franchise fee is the fee for joining our franchise community and includes:

    • Securing the available territory of your choice for your development
    • The franchise’s support to get your Camp up and running, including, but not limited to:
    • Site selection process
    • Construction and equipment process
    • Marketing support for grand opening and after opening
    • Operations support and training
  • We are a member of the International Franchise Association (“IFA”) and participate in the IFA’s VetFran Program. We offer a reduced initial franchise fee of $25,000*, a 50% discount, to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who meet the requirements of the VetFran Program. We offer a reduced initial franchise fee of $25,000*, a 50% discount, to first responders. A first responder is a person with specialized training who is among the first to arrive and provide assistance at the scene of an emergency, such as an accident, natural disaster, or other catastrophic events. First responders include paramedics, emergency medical technicians, police officers, sheriffs, and firefighters (“First Responder”). We will determine if an individual qualifies as a First Responder.
  • We currently offer reduced royalty rates for new franchises agreements for the first 12-months of operation.

  • No previous business experience is necessary to become a CBW Franchise Owner. However, an aptitude for following processes and procedures, great customer service skills, and a passion for dogs are all great assets that will help to fuel your success in the dog hotel business.

  • Yes! Many Camp Bow Wow franchise owners have more than one Camp. In fact, over 50% of Camp Bow Wow franchises are owned by multi-unit owners!

  • Our core services offered at all Camp Bow Wows are Daycare, Overnight Boarding, and Basic Grooming. Full Service Grooming and Dog Training services are offered on a location-by-location basis.
