Screening, Trained Care, & Live Webcam Access
Our safety process begins before a new Camper enters group play. We confirm required health and behavioral information through the Camper Interview, then organize play groups according to size, temperament, and energy level.

Our dog enrichment program adds sensory experiences and engaging activities to the day camp routine. Camp Counselors supervise group play while giving Campers opportunities to rest between active periods.

While your Camper plays and rests at Camp, you can check in through our live webcams. This gives you a window into the daytime experience instead of leaving you to wonder what happens between drop-off and pickup.
Preparing for Your Dog’s First Overnight Stay
Before drop-off, gather the records, supplies, and care instructions our team needs to understand your dog’s routine and complete check-in efficiently.
Prepare these items and details before the first visit:
- Bring vaccination records or ask your veterinarian to email or fax them so we can confirm your pup is ready to join the pack.
- Pack your dog’s own food, any medications with clear instructions, and an optional comfort item if allowed.
- Share important details during booking, including feeding schedules, allergies, behavioral quirks, and nighttime preferences.

Plan for drop-off and pickup:
- Keep goodbyes calm and quick. Give our team the information and supplies needed for the stay, then let your dog begin the Camp routine.
- Note your pick-up plan. Add the estimated time to the Boarding Pre-Check-In Form so we can prepare for checkout.
Dog Boarding Pricing in Fort Collins
Our All-Inclusive Pricing bundles the core parts of the Camp routine into the boarding rate. Confirm the current nightly rate and availability when making your reservation, especially during peak travel periods.
Boarding checkout options:
- Standard checkout is by 11:00 a.m.
- Sunday and holiday checkout is by 10:00 a.m.
- The extended-day option is $15 when your dog stays to play after checkout
Seasonal pricing may apply during peak periods, including Friday through Sunday nights from Memorial Day through Labor Day. If you’re planning a summer or holiday trip, confirm current rates, availability, and checkout requirements before finalizing your plans.
All packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. They expire one year after purchase.

How We Manage Group Play Safety
Safety at Camp is built into each stage of the boarding process. Before joining group play, every new dog completes our Camper Interview. This screening confirms current vaccinations and assesses whether the dog is comfortable in a group setting. Campers must also meet our health and spay or neuter requirements.
Once cleared, dogs join play groups organized by size, temperament, and energy level. Our Certified Camp Counselors® monitor interactions throughout the day and provide redirection or a break when needed. Their training includes canine first aid and behavior management.

Yes, holiday surcharges are common in dog boarding because these are peak times when space and staff are in higher demand. Many Camp Bow Wow locations may apply a small holiday fee or require minimum-night stays during major holidays to ensure we can provide safe, consistent care for every Camper. Your local Camp will share holiday rates and policies in advance so you can plan your pup’s stay with confidence.

Many Camp Bow Wow locations provide daily updates so you know how your pup is doing during dog daycare and boarding. Our Certified Camp Counselors® closely monitor each Camper’s behavior, play style, and overall well-being, and can share how your pup ate, played, rested, and made new friends. Some Camps also offer digital “report cards,” photos, or notes, so you get added peace of mind while your four-legged family member enjoys their stay - check with your local Camp for specific update options.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
