We LOVE our Campers! Check out our featured Campers at Clarkston. These pups love to play all day in our fun, safe and social environment, and receive lots of love and attention from our Certified Camp Counselors® whether they’re in for daycare or boarding.
December 2025 Camper of the Month
Sadie & LucaSadie and Luca are the best sibling duo, with personalities that keep our counselors giggling at them every day. First came Sadie and then came Luca. Luca, like most corgis, had to show his big personality to all his small pup friends. As soon as he grew into his big paws he graduated to the "Big dogs". Sadie, who was basically already the queen of the group, was quick to show him the ropes. She made sure he knew his place in the pack but was very excited to show him off. You can usually catch them jumping on top of each other and rolling around on the ground. When they are tired of chomping on each other, they still have their own friends they are happy to play with as well. Sadie was first to win our hearts with her kisses and sweet loving nature. She is truly a friend to all-Counselors and Dogs! Luca came in shy at first but very quickly showed us his confident personality! He is always down for a belly rub and extra treats! Sadie and Luca both enjoy their 1 on 1 playtimes with the counselors too! They are always ready to catch the ball and love playtime tug of war with our counselors. We are always excited to see these pups, and they will always hold a special place in our heart. We love you Sadie and Luca!

PeteLil Pete is a faithful Camper here at Camp. He comes in early morning, strutting his luscious ear locks with his light-up collar, ready to play all day! Dad is Pete's best friend at home, but here, Pete is excited to see all his Camp friends. He knows the way to his yard, and Lil Pete runs the yard like the boss he is. When it's time for him to head home, he struts his way down the aisle with the biggest smile on his face, ready to get into Dad's truck. He peeks his head up from the window, saying one last goodbye to his pals (human and canine!) Lil Pete has a unique personality for a Yorkie, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
July 2025 Camper of the Month
VioletViolet is Violet. She is a seasoned Camper and knows the show when it comes to all things Camp. From her daily daycare to an overnight stay, it's a home away from home. She sniffs all the leashes before she heads to the back, seeing which friends she gets to play with today. Violet's second order of business is to greet the Camp Counselor with her tail wagging and plenty of kisses. She is familiar with our routine and knows just when it's dinnertime! She is the first one to rush out of the yard to her cozy cabin, where her meal is waiting for her. When the day is over, she is a tired pup, and she knows it's time when she sees her iconic teal harness and violet leash. Violet has such a great personality, and it's always a better day at Camp when she is here. We love you Vi! <3
June 2025 Camper of the Month
LuluMs. Lulu always comes flying through the front door with a smile on her face and we can't help but feel the same way when we see her!
Her tail wags are so powerful they swing the rest of her body along with it! Lulu is always excited to see all her favorite Counselors and usually takes her position on the play structure watching over all! She is known for her sweet and friendly nature and her very curious nose!
We absolutely love Lulu and could not imagine Camp without her.
Thanks for being the best Lulu!
May 2025 Camper of the Month
ChesterLil' Chester is one of our happiest campers! Shy at first, but now he comes in and bounces like a bunny all the way down the hall to get to his friends! He enjoys partaking in the calendar enrichments and loves all the extra treats given to him by camp counselors! Chester is a big fan of sun bathing, we bet he will enjoy the pools in the end of May! If you meet little man in the lobby, he will steal your heart with all the extra kisses and love he has to offer!
November 2024 Camper of the Month
TruffleMeet Truffle! Truffle has touched all our hearts with her energetic paws here at Camp. One of our most playful pups that has been here since she was 4 months old, going from the small yard all the way up to the big yard. As soon as Mom brings her in, she is ready to pawty and knows exactly where she is going! Her love for attention, naps and extra treats warms all of the Camp Counselor's hearts. Truffle loves to show off her talents of jumping as high as she can and standing on two feet just like a human. Her kisses are the best and Camp wouldn't be the same without her!
October 2024 Camper of the Month
ShilohMeet Shiloh! Shiloh is a daily camper here at Camp. We love to see her cute face first thing in the morning. We yell Shy-Shy and she starts to dance! She shows us the way to her yard-where all of her friends are waiting. She greets all of the campers with a happy hello and steals everyone's heart with her friendly face. She is a constant companion and source of joy at Camp. Her playful spirit lights up the yard on even our busiest days. She is the perfect pup to greet the new dogs who might be a little scared. She is a friend to all campers and counselors and we love to see her smiley face every day.
September 2024 Camper of the Month
AnnieMeet Annie! Annie is the Queen of Yard 2! Every day she arrives at Camp she puts a giant smile on all the employees' faces! She knows exactly where she's going the moment she walks in and runs as fast as she can to get to the top of her play structure, aka Castle, to see all her furry friends! She plays with everyone and even helps monitor who is going home when she hears the bell chime! She adores extra snuggles, giving kisses, and even giving hugs! Camp is a home away from home for her! Thank you for all the extra kisses, Annie!
