What I love most about my job: I love that I am able to come to work every day and be surrounded by a group of dogs that feel like my own. From small puppies that I have seen grow up from the small dog yard into the big dog yard to the everyday dogs who always greet me with a tail wag and a wet kiss. When I'm not at work I wonder how "my" dogs are doing. They feel like part of my family.
My pets: Last summer I went in search of a dog, never thinking I would want TWO! I found my dynamic duo at a rescue not too far from my house. Bruce had Demodex very young and Levi took a liking to him, They've been inseparable ever since they shared their first dog bed. Bruce is a one-year-old Blue Pit Bull with a never ending love for fetch and a sweet disposition. He is never afraid to show you that 60 pounds is NOT too big to be a lap dog. Levi is a one-year-old Min Pin mix who protects his brother and makes the rules at home. They both enjoy countless hours of laying in the sun, watching out the window and cuddling up with a good blanket.
What my pet would say about me: They would probably say that I don't share enough bed at night or that I need to take them to Camp more often!
Favorite Dog Breed: My favorite would be a mixed breed dog. I have always had mutts growing up and I love them because their personalities are not defined to usual breed standards. They are an eclectic mix and each one is unique.
Hobbies: I love to bake and craft.
If I were a dog breed, I would be: If I were a dog I would be a Golden Retriever because they are very kind and loyal dogs.

Having been clients of Camp Bow Wow Clarkston for 5 years, Deb and Ron loved Camp so much, they just had to become a bigger part of it! Deb and Ron are happily married and are the proud owners of two Standard Poodles, Jack and Emma. On their first behind-the-scenes look of Camp, the two were very impressed at the cleanliness, size, and amount of compassion the employees had for each and every Camper! They still continue to be amazed today as they sniff further into their new Camp lifestyle. They just have to say, it's been Dog-gone Great! You'll find Ron practicing his handyman skills all around Camp, and spy Deb at some of our fun events! If you stop by the Ranger Station, you also may just find both of them playing with their fur-babies!
