All-Day Play, Cozy Cabins, & Live Webcams for Anchorage Pet Parents
Headed out of town but can’t bring your pup along? Camp Bow Wow® offers safe, fun overnight dog boarding in Anchorage where your dog spends the day romping in our spacious play yards, gets the attention they deserve, and settles in comfortably each night. We’re not just keeping them safe while you’re gone. We’re helping them have a great time.
Anchorage pet parents count on us when they’re traveling for work, heading out on a fishing trip, or catching a flight out of Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. We build a comfortable routine around each dog, with supervised play, rest breaks, and consistent attention regardless of what the weather looks like outside. By the time you’re back, your pup can have a vacation of their own in a secure, caring environment.
What to Expect During Your Dog’s Stay
Knowing what your dog’s day looks like makes choosing a boarding provider much easier. From the moment your pup checks in, our team learns their feeding schedule, medication needs, and favorite activities so we can follow your instructions closely. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy supervised group play in our indoor and outdoor yards, with quiet time built in between sessions so they can rest and recharge.
In the evening, Campers settle into their cozy Cabins while staff continues to monitor play spaces and lodging areas. That structure means you can leave on an early flight or return late without stressing about the timing. We follow the meal routines and schedules you provide to keep your dog’s day steady while you’re away. If your pup is new to boarding, you can schedule day care visits in advance so they can meet our team, get to know the other dogs, and get comfortable with the Camp environment before their first overnight stay.
Enjoy your time away knowing your pup is having fun with furry friends. Contact Camp Bow Wow Anchorage online today or call (844) 493-1591 to learn more.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
