Review these details before check-in:
- Care instructions: Provide current feeding directions, medication details, and emergency contact information.
- Arrival time: We list 4 p.m. as the preferred check-in deadline. Arriving earlier gives your dog more time to enjoy daytime play.
- Pickup plans: Ask about the extended checkout option and its additional fee if your dog will remain at Camp for the rest of the day.
- Holiday policies: Our posted policies state that holiday reservations may require a three-night minimum, a 50% deposit, and advance cancellation notice.
Requirements and availability can change during peak travel periods. When arranging your reservation, confirm the current minimum stay, deposit, cancellation deadline, and check-in expectations.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
