A Fun, Safe Home Away From Home
When you have to be away, you want your pup to enjoy a little vacation too. At Camp Bow Wow® Woodstock, our dog boarding gives your dog a safe, happy place to stay with all-day play, loving Camp Counselors, and cozy cabins at night. It is dog boarding in Woodstock that families turn to when they want more than a basic stay.
We understand how hard it can feel to drop your dog off for an overnight stay. You might wonder if they will be nervous, if other dogs will be friendly, or if anyone will notice if something seems off. Our team keeps a close eye on every Camper, and we design each stay around plenty of exercise, social time, and rest so dogs feel calm and content.
From our thorough Camper screening process to live web cameras that let you peek in anytime, we work to make your experience as stress-free as possible. Your dog enjoys a day full of play under the watch of trained Camp Counselors, then settles into a private cabin with comfy bedding for the night. You can travel or work with confidence knowing your four-legged family member is cared for like one of our own.

Why Families Choose Our Dog Hotel in Woodstock
Pet parents have many options for boarding, yet they keep coming back to our dog hotel in Woodstock because the experience feels different. Instead of spending most of the day in a basic stay, dogs at Camp enjoy open play with carefully matched playmates in our indoor and outdoor yards. This kind of social, supervised play helps them burn energy and relax, which often makes nights easier for everyone.
Our cozy cabins give pups a comfortable space to unwind after a big day. Each dog gets their own cabin so they can stretch out, enjoy their bedding, and recharge for the next day of adventure. We aim to create a home-like setting, with a consistent routine and familiar Camp Counselor faces, so your dog feels secure. Many pups start wagging the moment they see our lobby because they know exactly where the fun begins.
We also believe boarding should be simple to understand. Our pricing is transparent and all-inclusive for the core parts of a great stay, such as supervised playtime, feeding according to your instructions, and plenty of TLC. You do not have to worry about surprise add-on charges for basic care. Since we also offer daycare, training, and grooming, your dog can enjoy a full Camp experience in one familiar place that is convenient for busy families here in Woodstock.
What Overnight Boarding Looks Like
Knowing what your dog’s day will look like can make leaving them feel much easier. When your dog boards with us, their day starts with friendly greetings from our Camp Counselors and a morning potty break. After breakfast that follows your instructions, they join their Camper friends in our indoor and outdoor play areas for supervised fun.
Throughout the day, our team monitors group play and guides healthy interactions. Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and play style, which helps create a balanced environment. We build in rest breaks so pups can recharge between play sessions. These breaks are especially helpful for young, senior, or higher-energy dogs who benefit from a rhythm of activity and downtime.
As evening approaches, Campers enjoy dinner and a little wind-down time. Then each dog heads to their own cabin, where they can snuggle into cozy bedding and relax. Our cabins give dogs a quiet, personal space while still keeping them close to our staff. Lights are dimmed, noise is kept low, and our team checks on Campers so you can feel comfortable about overnight dog boarding.
Here is what is typically included in a boarding stay:
- All-day access to supervised indoor and outdoor play yards on Camp days
- Private cabins at night with comfy bedding for restful sleep
- Feeding according to your schedule and food portions
- Administration of routine medications as directed by you
- Regular potty breaks and fresh water at all times
Our goal is for your dog to go home happily tired, relaxed, and eager to return. By combining exercise, socialization, and rest in a thoughtful routine, we help many dogs settle into boarding quickly, even if it is their first time away from home.
How We Keep Campers Safe
Safety is at the heart of everything we do at Camp Bow Wow Woodstock. Before joining group play, every new Camper completes a thorough screening. This includes a discussion with you about your dog’s history and preferences, a behavior assessment, and introductions to other dogs at a pace that keeps everyone comfortable. We only move forward with boarding if we believe our environment is a good fit.
We also maintain vaccination and health requirements to help protect all dogs in our care. Our team verifies that required vaccines are up to date, and we encourage you to share any health notes or special needs that might influence your dog’s stay. This information helps us tailor their experience and watch for anything that might need extra attention.
During both day play and overnight hours, our Camp Counselors monitor dogs and facilities closely. They are trained to read canine body language, support appropriate play, and separate dogs if anyone needs a break. We follow regular cleaning routines, focusing on high-touch areas and cabins so the environment stays fresh and welcoming.
Some of the ways we work to keep boarding safe include:
- Camper behavior evaluations before entering open play
- Groupings by size, temperament, and play style
- Active supervision by Camp Counselors throughout the day
- Vaccination and health requirements for all Campers
- Ongoing cleaning routines for cabins and play spaces
We know trust is earned, not assumed. That is why we also offer web cameras in our play areas. You can log in during the day to see your dog romping with friends, which can be especially reassuring if you are using the overnight dog boarding in Woodstock that families rely on for the first time.
Preparing For Your Dog’s Stay
Good preparation can make boarding smoother for both you and your pup. The first step is to schedule your dog’s initial evaluation so we can meet them, learn about their personality, and make sure our open play environment is a good match. Once your dog has passed this Camper screening, you can book future boarding dates with confidence.
When it is time for their stay, we recommend bringing your dog’s regular food so we can keep their diet consistent. You can also pack any medications with clear instructions, along with a favorite toy or small blanket that smells like home. Sticking close to your usual routines often helps dogs feel settled more quickly in a new space.
At drop off, our team will review your dog’s schedule, feeding needs, and any special notes you want us to keep in mind. During the stay, you can check our webcams to see your Camper in action in our play yards. If we notice anything that needs your attention, such as a change in appetite, we will reach out so you stay informed.
Pickup is usually filled with happy tail wags and a pleasantly tired pup. Many dogs who board with us also enjoy daycare on other days, which means they get to know our staff and routines over time. That familiarity can make each boarding stay easier, especially for dogs who are new to this type of care in Woodstock, GA.

Dog Boarding FAQs
Have questions? Camp Bow Wow Woodstock is here to help!
-
Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
