Beyond daycare and boarding, Camp Bow Wow Springfield East offers Dog Grooming and Dog Training that fit naturally into your dog’s time at Camp. Because your pup already knows and trusts the environment, a grooming session during or after a daycare visit can be less stressful than a trip somewhere unfamiliar. Professional grooming covers bathing, nail trimming, and coat care, handled by staff who know your dog by name.
Our Dog Training programs use reward-based, positive reinforcement methods to build basic obedience, good manners, and confident socialization. Our Certified Camp Counselors are trained in canine behavior and body language, so every training session is grounded in a real understanding of how dogs communicate and learn. Pairing a training session with an existing boarding or daycare stay means one fewer trip for you and a low-stress experience for your dog.
Dog Enrichment activities are designed to stimulate your dog’s natural instincts through interactive games, sensory activities, and problem-solving challenges that support mental and physical well-being alongside physical play. For pet parents with demanding schedules, Pet Transportation Services can take some of the stress out of drop-off and pickup logistics.

He was a wallflower for the first half of the day, but he started warming up to being there by the afternoon. I have two pups. Sammy Boy goes to Camp every Tuesday, and he is always so excited, he can hardly wait to get into the doggie care building. I am handicapped, so all of the staff are so helpful. Each Tuesday morning they unload Sammy from my car and literally have to run with him to get into the building, and then they also reload him in my car to go home. Annie Lynne visits on occasion for play, nail trim, etc. She too loves it but is not very active. We love all of the staff at Camp Bow Wow East. Again, my pup is so excited to get to Camp.

We’ve had a great experience with Camp Bow Wow! One of our favorite features is the photos and updates provided by the staff—it’s so reassuring to see how much fun our dogs are having. The live video feed is also a great touch and allows us to check in on the play areas anytime.
The staff is truly amazing—attentive, caring, and clearly passionate about the dogs. There’s plenty of human interaction, which makes such a difference, and our pups come home happy, well-exercised, and content. It’s so reassuring to know they’re not just being watched, but genuinely cared for.
We couldn’t be happier with the level of care and attention our dogs receive here and highly recommend this daycare to any pet parent looking for a safe, engaging, and loving environment.

Nice to have a good, clean, safe place to leave the fur kid when we go out of town and can't take him along. Everyone working there seems to care for the dogs like they were their own and the fur kid seemed to have a good time. He almost seemed sad to leave when we picked him up. The Camper Interview: Your Dog’s First Step at Camp
Every new dog must complete a Camper Interview before attending Dog Daycare or Dog Boarding at Camp Bow Wow Springfield East. The interview gives our Camp Counselors the chance to assess your dog’s temperament, energy level, and play style so they can be grouped appropriately with other Campers in our open-play environment. Screening Campers before entry is a foundational safety practice in group dog care, and it’s part of how we support a positive experience in the play yard.
Your dog’s first day is free when you complete the Camper Interview. Once your dog becomes a regular Camper, you can also take advantage of our RE-FUR A FRIEND referral promotion, which gives you a free day of Camp when a friend you refer becomes a paying Camper who has passed the interview.
