We're Josh and Ashley! We love our 3 dogs just as much as we love our 3 kids. Our pack includes two German Shepherds and one Bernedoodle, and we love traveling and making memories with our family. While it's easy to bring our children along on trips, traveling with three dogs can be a little more challenging!

Over the years, we tried several boarding options in the area and were often less than excited about leaving our pups behind while we went off to have all the fun. Then we found Camp Bow Wow—and everything changed!

We loved the all-day play, large individual cabins separated by actual walls with comfy cots, luxury suites with 24/7 camera viewing for longer stays, and the ability for our dogs to run freely between indoor and outdoor play areas. We also loved knowing that every dog must pass an interview before coming to Camp. It gave us peace of mind knowing our pups were safe, happy, and well cared for while we were away.

The one-stop-shop experience was another huge benefit. We could let our pups have fun at doggy daycare, board them while we travel, and take care of all their grooming needs—all in one place!

We started as Camp Bow Wow customers and eventually became owners because we loved Camp that much! Our goal is to provide a premier, all-inclusive pet service experience right here in the local Overland Park community—giving your pups a place filled with fun, love, enrichment, and a safe environment where they can truly be themselves.

Hi, I’m Kaylyn, the Marketing Director at Camp! ??

I started working at Camp Bow Wow in 2021, and I quickly fell in love with seeing the joy Camp brings to dogs every single day. There’s nothing better than watching a pup run through the doors excited to see their friends, make new memories, and have the best day ever!

A big part of my role is getting to know our pet parents and being out in the community representing Camp. You’ll often find me meeting new people (and, of course, their pups!), connecting with local businesses, attending community events, or hanging out in the yards, capturing all the fun happening at Camp.

I’m also a proud Shepsky mom, so I know firsthand how important it is to find a place where your dog can have fun, make friends, and feel right at home. My Shepsky is as crazy as ever and is probably somewhere at Camp right now, waiting to make a new friend with your pup! ??
