Dog Boarding Near The Woodlands
Active Days & Comfortable Nights in Individual Cabins
Our Camp in Oak Ridge North provides overnight dog boarding for families in The Woodlands and surrounding communities. Each stay combines supervised daytime activity, socialization, scheduled rest, and a comfortable Cabin for the night.
Rather than spending most of the day alone, eligible Campers can enjoy supervised group play in climate-controlled indoor areas and outdoor spaces. Camp Counselors provide personal attention and can follow the feeding routine and care preferences you share with us.

What Your Dog’s Boarding Stay Includes
Overnight guests receive a full day of Day Camp before settling into their individual Cabins. This Dog Hotel Experience gives dogs a balance of activity and quiet time while their families are away.
A typical stay includes:
- Supervised group play: Campers spend time with compatible dogs under the watch of our Camp Counselors.
- Indoor and outdoor spaces: Dogs have room to move, explore, and enjoy a change of scenery throughout the day.
- Scheduled rest: Breaks give Campers time to relax between active play periods.
- An individual Cabin: Each overnight guest has a spacious, comfortable place to sleep.
- Routine-based care: We can follow provided feeding instructions and care preferences.
Safety Is Our Top Priority
Every new Camper completes a Camper Interview before joining regular Camp activities. This screening helps us observe behavior around people and other dogs, discuss temperament and routines, and assess suitability for our group-play environment.
Campers must be spayed or neutered and current on required vaccinations. Our Certified Camp Counselors® receive training in dog behavior, CPR, and pet first aid, and they actively monitor playgroups throughout the day.
Live webcams also give you a way to check in during your dog’s stay. You can see the play environment and watch your Camper enjoy time with new friends.
What All-Inclusive Overnight Boarding Covers
We use transparent, all-inclusive pricing with no hidden fees. An overnight stay includes Day Camp, supervised play in indoor and outdoor spaces, an individual Cabin, and attention from Camp Counselors.
When comparing rates, check whether daytime play, sleeping accommodations, and routine feeding support are included or treated as add-ons. Contact our Camp for current local rates and to discuss special feeding instructions or care preferences before booking.

Boarding for Different Routines & Energy Levels
We welcome boarding requests for short getaways and extended travel. Age alone doesn’t determine whether Camp is a good fit, so the Camper Interview considers health, temperament, social comfort, play style, and the ability to rest in a new setting.
Camp Counselors observe how each dog adjusts and account for different energy levels and rest needs within our boarding routine. Tell us if your pup is shy, highly energetic, sensitive to group activity, or accustomed to specific sleep habits.
We also offer dog daycare, training, and grooming as separate parts of our broader care experience. Ask our team about these services if they’re relevant to your dog’s stay.
How to Compare Overnight Care Near The Woodlands
Labels such as kennel, resort, or dog hotel don’t explain how your dog will spend the day. Instead, compare each provider’s supervision, screening process, sleeping arrangements, health requirements, and included services.
Use these points when comparing your options:
- Daytime supervision: Ask who monitors group play and what training caregivers receive.
- Playgroup compatibility: Find out how dogs are screened, grouped, and given breaks.
- Sleeping arrangements: Confirm where each dog rests and whether accommodations are individual.
- Health requirements: Review vaccination, spay or neuter, and first-stay policies.
- Pet parent visibility: Check whether live webcams are available during the stay.
- Included care: Compare playtime, feeding support, accommodations, and possible add-ons.
Before finalizing your travel plans, ask directly about medication, special diets, holiday availability, reservation timing, and pickup requirements.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
