Our Lee's Summit Team

We're Josh and Ashley. We love our 2 dogs just as much as we love our 3 kids. We also love to travel. It's easy to bring our children on trips, but flying with 2 German Shepherds is difficult. Over the years we tried a lot of boarding options in the area and have been less than excited to leave our dogs while we go have all the fun.

We found Camp Bow Wow and loved the all-day play, large, individual cabins separated by actual walls with cots, luxury suites with 24/7 camera viewing for longer stays, the ability for dogs to run inside and outside freely, and that all the dogs must pass an interview before coming to camp. We felt our pets were safe and well taken care of while we were gone! One stop shop was also a huge benefit - we can let the pups have fun at doggy daycare, board them for trips and get all their grooming done all in one spot. We started as customers and converted to owners we loved Camp that much! 

Our goal is to be the premiere, all-inclusive pet service experience in the local KC community providing your pups with fun, love and a safe environment. We look forward to meeting all of you!

Hi I’m Ami. I have always been passionate about pets and dogs in particular. When I was a little girl, I fell in love with my grandpa’s dog, Suzie. I would dress up and pretend to groom her at age 7. This love and passion led me to a career that still excites me to this day. I have been a Professional Groomer for 27 years, 21 of those years as a Master Stylist. In addition to loving dogs and the art of Grooming I have spent over 20 years of my Career in the Pet Industry in Boarding/Care/Training Leadership Roles.

When I’m not working I spend my spare time with my husband, daughter and our 4 dogs, 2 turtles and a cat. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Camp Bow Wow Pack and look forward to meeting all of our furry friends!

Amy is an Alabama native putting roots down in Missouri. Amy has always wanted to work with dogs. After her move to Missouri, she landed herself at CBW Lee’s Summit as a Camp Counselor in March 2022. From there she quickly became a Team Lead and is now Camp’s General Manager. She loves Camp, the pups, and their parents and feels like she’s found her calling and living her dream come true working at Camp every day! Not far from Amy, you can always find her pup Keko exploring and making friends in the CBW pack! 

Dakota joined the Camp Bow Wow Lee’s Summit pack in August 2023 and quickly became a favorite among our dog daycare pups and their pet parents. As Assistant Manager, Dakota is a natural leader with a big heart, making sure every dog in our care feels safe, loved, and right at home. His own pup, Woody, often tags along at Camp, and together they bring extra fun and friendly energy to the play yards. Known for his reliable service and genuine love for animals, Dakota is dedicated to providing the best dog boarding and daycare experience in Lee’s Summit. His passion for happy, healthy pups makes him an essential part of the Camp Bow Wow family.
