Reservation Policies in Lee’s Summit

The reservation, cancellation, and refund policies below apply only to Camp Bow Wow Lee's Summit and may vary from Camp to Camp. Review the separate rules for Non-Holiday boarding, holiday boarding, Check-In and Check-Out, Camper eligibility, and Dog Daycare Packages before booking.

We accept Visa, MC, Discover, and American Express. Cash and checks aren’t accepted at this time. A credit card must be left on file when booking to confirm a reservation.

Non-Holiday Boarding Reservations

Non-Holiday boarding reservations require a deposit, and weekend stays have a minimum-night requirement.

Review these Non-Holiday reservation terms:

• Deposits are required to secure your reservation because boarding capacity may otherwise be offered to another pet parent.
• A 50% deposit of your entire reservation amount is collected when you make your dog boarding reservation. The remaining balance is collected at pick-up.
• If you cancel at least 48 hours before the date of your boarding reservation, you’ll receive a full refund of your deposit.
• If you’re a no-show or cancel within the 48 hours before your boarding reservation, you forfeit your deposit.
• Deposits can’t be used as credit toward other services.
• A 2-night minimum is required during weekend stays from Friday through Sunday.
• All pricing and policies are subject to change without notice.

Holiday Boarding Reservations

Holiday boarding has a longer cancellation window and a 3-night minimum stay. Holiday Periods span 3 days before and 3 days after the actual holiday.

Review these holiday reservation terms:

• A 3-night minimum stay is required for holiday boarding reservations.
• A credit card must be left on file at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
• Holiday reservations require a 50% deposit of your entire reservation amount when you book. The remaining balance is collected at pick-up.
• If you cancel at least 7 days before the date of your holiday boarding reservation, you’ll receive a full refund of your deposit.
• Cancellations within the 7-day period before the holiday reservation and no-shows forfeit the 50% deposit.
• Major holidays and peak times listed below are subject to seasonal pricing of an additional $5 per night per dog.
• Holiday deposits can’t be used as credit toward other services.
• All pricing and policies are subject to change without notice.

Boarding Check In/Out

Check-In
Check in as early as you’d like on the day of drop-off so your Camper can enjoy more playtime.

Standard Check-Out
Check-Out is by 11 a.m. on the day of pick-up. Sunday and holiday pick-up is by 10 a.m. due to our hours of operation.

Extended Checkout
You can request Extended Checkout for $15 per dog by scheduling it in advance or contacting us during your stay. Extended Checkout allows your Camper to stay and play for the remainder of the day, with pick-up at or before 6:45 p.m.

Camper Requirements for Lee’s Summit

All Campers must meet our age, health, vaccination, equipment, and temperament requirements before participating at Camp.

Each Camper must be:

• At least four months old
• Spayed or neutered if six months or older
• Current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines
• Flea- and tick-free and in good overall health
• Free of open wounds or stitches of any kind
• Wearing a quick-release collar and name tag
• Dog and people friendly
• Able to pass the interview and trial day

For safety reasons, flea and tick collars may not be worn at Camp.

Dog Daycare Packages: Refunds & Expiration

The refund and expiration rules for Dog Daycare Packages are separate from overnight boarding deposit and cancellation policies.

The following package terms apply:

• Dog Daycare Packages aren’t refundable.
• Dog Daycare Packages expire one year from the purchase date.
• Any package days not used before expiration are forfeited.
• All pricing and policies are subject to change without notice.

2026 Holiday Periods

The holiday boarding rules, including the 3-night minimum stay, 7-day cancellation window, and additional $5 per night per dog, apply to the listed periods. Friday through Sunday nights from Memorial Day to Labor Day are also treated as Holiday Periods.
