March Camper of the MonthHenry
Henry is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd and is very pup-ular at Camp! He was adopted at 4 months old from the Humane Society of Huron Valley after his original owners had to surrender him. Henry's mom is grateful every single day for him; he has 100% changed her life for the better! This handsome boy is one of the sweetest pups you could ever meet! He loves greenies and his fox toy, as well as cuddling. He loves going to EZ Dog Park and often goes on road trips up north and loves car rides! Outside of Camp, Henry likes to hang out with his buddies Finley, Tiggy, & Marv. He loves Camp and we honestly can't imagine Camp without him!
February Camper of the MonthBruno "Dipawzio"
Bruno "Dipawzio" is a 1-year-old Cairn Terrier who is very pup-ular at Camp! He loves long walks, chasing chipmunks and squirrels, going for car rides with dad, playing in the snow, running laps around the house, and coming to Camp! The play yard is always guaranteed to be a riot when Bruno is at Camp! He is a very energetic player who gets along with everybody! The one thing this handsome pup does not like is mornings! He is not fond of his parents waking up super early and if he could have one wish, it would be for everybody to share their food with him. We woof you, Bruno!
January Camper of the MonthZephyr
Zephyr is a 12-year-old Greyhound who has been coming to Camp since 2015! He was adopted at 2.5 months old by his mom, Angelique, from a vet hospital during her last year of college at MSU. Zephyr’s favorite activities include playing in the snow, going for long walks at Thompson Lake in Howell, and napping on his own personal love seat in the living room. He lives a happy life with his mom and his dad, Andy, and his hooman baby sister. Zephyr thoroughly enjoys eating food off her high chair but is a very sweet big brother! He can be shy around new people but LOVES coming to Camp! He is a very sweet and gentle boy who loves his play yard naps. We woof you, Zephyr!
December Camper of the MonthElvis
Elvis is a 7-year-old Shih Tzu who has been coming to Camp since he was just a puppy! His mom believes that fate brought Elvis into their lives. He was born gold and white with black sideburns and since his mom is a huge Elvis fan, that's where his name comes from! Elvis is a sweet boy who loves all his Camp Counselors and even though he is friendly with other pups, he is more of an observer than a player. Elvis is very popular in his neighborhood as well! Everyone knows who he is and he loves all the neighborhood dogs, although he'll greet them with one sniff and sit and watch the other dogs play around him. This sweet boy has a huge personality and we are always so happy to see him!
November Campers of the MonthMaggie & Ben
Ben & Maggie are 3-year-old Labradoodles who have been coming to Camp since 2016! Though they look like twins, Ben is 3 months older than Maggie and has a different mother. Ben has a special talent for wearing hats and glasses, while Maggie has a gift for sleeping with her head and feet facing opposite directions! They are best friends and love hanging out with their human family members and cat siblings. Ben & Maggie love hiking, camping, going to Kensington, outdoor restaurants, and naps. They love their CBW family, especially Devon and her treat pouch! They believe themselves to be lap dogs, but their family hasn't broken the news to them yet! We couldn't imagine Camp without this wonderful duo!

Maizie is a 5-month-old Border Collie and in just her first month of coming to Camp, has become very pupular with both Campers and Camp Counselors! She is a very playful girl who gets along with everybody and we have enjoyed watching her become more and more social since her interview day. Maizie's name was inspired by the colors maize and blue for UofM, since her parents are Wolverine fans. She is very fond of toys, especially frisbees. Some of her toys even have names, such as 'Jester,' 'Wolverine,' and 'Cracker.' Maizie loves bully sticks and prefers a cuisine which consists of dog bones mashed up in her food. Outside of Camp, her best friend is her "cousin," Sora. Maizie is such a sweet and pretty girl and it makes us so happy to see how much she enjoys coming to Camp!

Breed: Labrador Retriever
Pleiades is an 8-year-old Labrador Retriever who has been coming to Camp for most of her life! She is a very sweet girl with a lot of energy and always has a lot to say to the staff! Her pet parents, Dennis and Sandra, absolutely adore her, and her dad says that she is his best friend. She is always smiling and giving off good vibes. Pleiades has been a regular Camper for so many years that it's hard to imagine Camp without her. She gets along with all of the other Campers and enjoys a good nap during rest times. It is always a joy to see her and her wonderful pet parents walk through our doors. Pleiades is a true star!

Age: 3 Years Old
Breed: Boston Terrier
Penny is a 3-year-old Boston Terrier who has been coming to Camp since 2016! This sweet girl loves coming to Camp and enjoys fetching little tennis balls and tearing up her stuffed animals in her free time. Her mom adopted her when she was 8 weeks old and they spend a lot of fun times together going for walks, swimming in the lake, and sunbathing! Penny’s favorite treats are broccoli, cucumbers, carrots and blueberries and she has 3 best friends named Murphy, Lily, and Enzo. Everything that Penny does is adorable, even when she snores really loud while sleeping under the covers! The amount of love and joy that this little beauty gives us is so immense and we just can’t imagine Camp without Penny!

Sassy has been coming to Camp since she was just a year old and is one of our regular Campers. She loves seeing her hooman friends when she enters the building! Sassy is a stylish girl who enjoys chasing rabbits and doing yoga. She is known to show off her moves in the play yard and practice her balance on the play structure. When she isn’t stretching, she is often watching the tv monitor to see what’s happening in the lobby. Sassy always knows precisely when her dad is coming to pick her up, too! We love having this sweet girl at Camp!

Breed: Golden Retriever
Nicki is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever who started coming to CBW Brighton in January of this year. She is a very pup-ular Camper and we always love seeing her come through our doors! She comes from a pop star family, as she was named after Nicki Minaj and has 2 cat sisters named Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus. Her life goal is to catch the neighborhood squirrel that teases her by strolling on the deck. She also loves attention and when not given the proper amount has been known to chew up a remote control or 4. We love having Nicki at Camp and her parents love that she comes home happy and tired and free of any rebellion during the evening!

Breed: Siberian Husky
Pappy is a 5-year-old Siberian Husky who was adopted by his family in 2013. He has been a huge part of the CBW Brighton family in his 3 years of coming here! He loves peanut butter and rawhides. Pappy also has a human brother and sister and enjoys stealing their food. His best friend is a Saint Bernard named Sky. Pappy is a regular Camper and loves all of his Camp Counselors! He is a sweet boy with the most gorgeous blue eyes that will pierce your heart. We love you, Pappy!

Age: Eli – 5 years, Benny – 3 years
Breed: Eli – Cocker Spaniel, Benny – Shetland Sheepdog
Eli Blu and Benny are two of our regular Day Campers. These dapper boys LOVE coming to Camp! Eli (Elijah) Blu is a 5-year-old Cocker Spaniel and Benny (Benson) is a 3-year-old Shetland Sheepdog. These boys are inseparable and so sweet to one another. While playing, Benny will even gently grab Eli’s ear and guide him around. Eli Blu and Benny are very sophisticated boys, and often come to Camp dressed to the nines in ties or bows. We are always very excited to see them and they love their Camp Counselors!

Age: 6 Years Old
Winnie is a 6-year-old Goldendoodle (mostly Poodle) and has been coming to Camp since she was 6 months old. She is a regular Camper that enjoys standing on the ramp, making friends, and often pawticipates in interviewing new Campers because she’s so well mannered. Winnie’s favorite activity is going up north to Gaylord, MI where she gets to “hunt” chipmunks, go swimming, and take boat rides. Her favorite human treats are rotisserie chicken, peanut butter, and cheese. She hates hair brushings, tin foil, and being dressed up. Her parents think she is truly one of a kind and love her dearly!

Age: 9 Years Old
Breed: English Springer Spaniel
Rufus has been coming to Camp since he was just 4 months old! He is a regular Camper and professional napper, known as the “King of the Hill” of the play structures. His mom, Claudia, adopted him when he was just 3 months old and even after having dogs all her life, she says Rufus is the sweetest, funniest, most affectionate dog she has ever known. He loves running through the woods behind his home and chasing deer on snowy days. Rufus is loved by everyone at Camp and is an extended member of all of our families.

Age: 5 Years Old
Breed: West Highland White Terrier
Gracie has been coming to Camp since she was a puppy in 2014! She is a very sweet girl who gets along with ev-furry-body and she loves her Camp Counselors! Gracie’s parents (or secretaries, as they like to call themselves) are also very friendly and often get Gracie involved with Camp activities. Gracie attends Camp regularly and always has a wagging tail when she comes through the door. She is a very happy girl and we enjoy getting to spend so much time with her!
December Camper of the Month“Wild” Bill
He is one of Camp's most pupular and regular Day Campers and has enjoyed every aspect that Camp has to offer, from Day Camp to Training. He was rescued by Livingston County Animal Control after his first owner was arrested during a drug bust and had his car towed. Bill was found on the floor of the back seat at the tow lot. For his pet parents, Susan and John, it was love at first sight! He loves playing with dogs twice his size and likes curling up with fuzzy blankets. He knows it's time to come to Camp when he hears his mom's hairspray bottle in the bathroom!

Midas has been coming to Camp since 2015. Although he is an older Camper, he loves to play with puppies and is able to keep up with them! He is always very happy to come to Camp and smiles quite often. Midas is a beautiful boy with a gentle soul and he makes all of us at CBW Brighton happy with his presence. We woof you, King Midas!

Age: 8 Years
Breed: Cocker Spaniel / Chihuahua Mix
Buddy is an 8 year old cocker spaniel/chihuahua mix who has been coming to Camp Bow Wow Brighton since 2016. He is a rescue dog from MARL and found his fur-ever home with the Towne family two years ago. Buddy loves taking long walks around the neighborhood, meeting new friends and taking long naps with his dad. His favorite treats are doggy bones and before bed he loves to eat carrots! He visits his grandma at her nursing home and everyone there loves to pet and visit with him. Buddy never misses a family vacation, not even the Grand Canyon! We adore this little guy and can’t imagine not having him at Camp!

Age: 1 Year
Jack has been coming to Camp Bow Wow Brighton since he was a very fluffy puppy in July 2017! He is a very sweet boy who loves giving all the Camp Counselors hugs. He loves any type of toy he can chew, including his human sisters’ stuffed animals. Jack loves hiding a good dog bone and then digging it back up. He is very smart and taught himself how to ring a bell by the door when he wants to go outside! His best friends are his sisters and Molly, the family cat (whom he sometimes likes to try and eat)!
July / August Camper of the MonthKiah
Kiah regularly attends Day Camp at Camp Bow Wow Brighton. Although she has only been coming to Camp for just over a year, she instantly won the hearts of everyone and is featured often on our social media. She adores the pawparrazi and is always ready for her close-up! Kiah loves to be outside and is a very active girl. Don’t let her age fool you! She jumps and spins when she is excited, whether in the play yards with the Counselors or when her mom picks her up at the end of the day.

Max has been coming to Camp regularly since he was 6 months old! He was rescued by his family when he was just 3 mo. old. As a puppy, he was highly energetic and bouncy. His favorite activities include chasing ducks and playing with his favorite grasshopper toy. He loves peanut butter and is always excited to be at Camp!

Age: 5 Years
Colette has been coming to Camp for ruffly 4 1/2 years! She is a shy girl but very affectionate once she warms up to you, and she loves getting pampered at bath time! Her dad, William, has been a long-time client and adopted Colette from a breeder in Canada. Colette and her dad regularly visit Canada for Doodle-Rama events! We woof having this sweet girl with us at Camp!

Nash is a regular Camper who has been a part of the CBW Brighton family since he was 4 months old! He has literally grown up with us at Camp and is very popular among his fur-riends and Camp Counselors. He is very playful and also loves spending time with our trainer, Devon. Nash is very intelligent and sweet, and Camp just wouldn't be the same without this happy boy!

Farley is one of our regular Campers and has been attending since 2014, when he was just a pup! He loves swimming, going on morning hikes, and is a bird hunter at heart. Farley loves coming to Camp and is adorably vocal when he isn't getting his lovins from his Camp Counselors!

Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgi
Yuki has been coming to Camp since summer of 2017 and instantly won everyone's hearts. She loves snow, snoozing under the play structures in the play yards, and playing with one of her bestest buddies - a Shetland Sheepdog named Benny. Yuki is a very sweet girl who attends Camp regularly (much to our delight!) and Camp just wouldn't be the same without her!

Hershey is a very spunky boy who has been coming to Camp since 2011 as just a pup! He enjoys coming to Camp along with his sister, Bailey. Hershey loves all of our Camp Counselors and has a great time just running around outside in the play yards. He and his sister are a delightful pair and are never apart, even at Camp.

Henry Cornelius Ruf has been coming to Camp since he was just a pup! His distinctive bark and friendly demeanor have made him very pup-ular at Camp! He loves to play and loves giving and receiving affection from our Camp Counselors. Henry is always very happy to come to Camp and it makes us happy whenever his pawrents bring him in!

Kenna is one of our newest campers, and she loves coming to camp! She is very fond of Pup-peroni sticks and her favorite toy is a squeaky lambchop. Outside of camp, Kenna enjoys playing fetch with her parents, although Mom likes to joke that she always retrieves to Dad since he throws further distances!

Cooper is one of our newest Campers, and we are very lucky to have him! He is incredibly sweet and loves everybody and gets along with all of the other Campers. At merely 6 months of age, Cooper has already made so many friends, and he loves coming to Camp Bow Wow!

Sasha, or "Goofus," (as called by mom) has been coming to Camp Bow Wow Brighton since she was just a pup. She is a very active girl who has already made so many friends in her young life because of camp. Her best friend is Bridie, an Irish Wolfhound (who was our July 2017 Camper of the Month!) and she spends a lot of time with our trainer, Devon. She is an expert at "Place Command" in training!

Molly is one of CBW Brighton's resident campers, attending since 2009. She is a very happy girl and loves being the center of attention. Molly always smiles and will pose instantly when she sees a camera. This sweet girl loves to spend her days sunbathing and goofing off with our counselors.

Bridie is an incredibly sweet Irish Wolfhound who has been coming to camp for about a year. She started when she was four months old and we have been lucky to watch her grow into the majestic beauty she is today. She loves spending time with the counselors and one of her closest friends, a Mountain/Blackmouth Cur named Sasha.

Neville is a new camper this month. He comes in with his brother Dobbie. They love to play chase in out play yards. Even though Neville has only been coming for a few weeks he has already learned the camp routine. We can't wait to see Neville and Dobbie again.
