Sammy's dad travels a lot for work, so she comes to Camp often. She was adopted 14 years ago when she stopped 2 lanes of traffic in South Lyon. Her now-dad saw her running back and forth across the street and in order to keep her safe, yelled out "Puppy Puppy!" Sammy stopped, looked at him, and ran and jumped inside his car. After contacting the police and local Humane Society and not having any owners come forward, Sammy was adopted by her mom and dad, 3 hooman siblings, and 2 dog siblings. What a story! Her dad continues to call her "Puppy" to this day, while the rest of the family gave her the name "Sammy." Sammy is a very special girl and we're so happy to be a part of her life!
