Camp Bow Wow Avondale PA's dog training services are designed to forge a healthy bond between you and your pup. Our premier dog training services offer variety, flexibility, and can cater to your dog’s specific needs. The training we offer is based on scientifically proven methodology and aligns with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA®), the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and other established animal welfare organizations.

Dog Training Pricing

  • Group Dog Training Classes Price
    Level 1 Puppy Training Class 5 week class. Dogs 3 - 6 months. Basic manners. All puppies taking part in Puppy Classes or Puppy Socialization must have had DHPP (a combination vaccine for Distemper, Adenovirus [Hepatitis], Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus) and Bordetella at least one week before coming to Camp Bow Wow. Owners must also bring verification of a second set of shots for both DHPP and Bordetella within 5 weeks of the original vaccination. All dogs at Camp must have a Rabies Vaccination when 4 months old. $160.00
    Level 2 Advanced Dog Training 6-week class. Prereq of Level I. Advanced behaviors like heel, place, and distractions $160.00
    Tricks are Fun 4 week class -1/2 hour each class- This can be done as a play and train in camp during their play day or sleepover .  Pups will learn skills like Spin and Twirl, Wave, Bow, Crawl Roll over and More! Tricks are a great way to show off your dog's personality and work their brains! $100.00
  • Private Training Price
    Private Training Consultation at Camp Trainer will meet with owner (may include dog) for 30 minutes to talk about priorities for training and develop a plan. Vaccinations required if done at Camp. $25.00
    Private Training at Camp Trainer will work with dog at Camp for 30 minutes on objectives that have been pre-set by Owner and Trainer. Vaccinations required. $40.00
    Package of Five 30-minute Private Training sessions at Camp Package must be paid in advance and is good 1 year from date of purchase. $190.00

This allows us ample time to help you and your dog learn and practice new skills while leaving time to adjust the process as needed and set clear expectations for the next session.   • At Camp Bow Wow, we offer a variety of training services to accommodate different needs. Our most common services include group classes, private training, and in-Camp training for while your pup is playing for the day or staying overnight. In many of our dog training sessions, we work on basic obedience like "sit," "stay," and "come," as well as leash walking to help make walks easy and enjoyable.   • Yes, we offer puppy training at Camp Bow Wow! Our programs are designed to help your furry friend develop good habits and learn basic obedience skills from a young age. We understand that puppies have unique needs, which is why our puppy training classes are tailored to their age and development. We offer puppy obedience training for puppies ages 10 weeks to 4 months old. Select locations also offer our Pawsitive Start Jr. program to provide a well-rounded approach to puppy care.
