Dog Boarding in Woodstock
All-Day Play Included. Certified Camp Counselors®. No Hidden Fees.
When you have to be away, you want your pup to enjoy a little vacation too. At Camp Bow Wow® Woodstock, our dog boarding gives your dog a safe, happy place to stay with all-day play, attentive Camp Counselors, and a cozy cabin at night. It’s dog boarding in Woodstock that families come back to when they want more than a basic kennel stay.
We understand how hard it can feel to leave your dog overnight. You might wonder if they’ll be nervous, whether the other dogs will be friendly, or if anyone will notice when something seems off. Our team keeps a close eye on every Camper, and we design each stay around the right mix of exercise, social time, and rest so dogs feel calm and content.
From our thorough Camper screening process to live web cameras that let you peek in anytime, we work to make the whole experience as stress-free as possible for you. Your dog spends the day playing under the watch of trained Camp Counselors, then settles into a private cabin with comfy bedding for the night. You can travel or work knowing your four-legged family member is cared for like one of our own.

Why Families Choose Our Dog Hotel in Woodstock
Pet parents have plenty of options for boarding, yet they keep coming back to our dog hotel in Woodstock because the experience is genuinely different. Dogs don’t spend their day waiting in a run or suite. They’re out in our indoor and outdoor play yards, matched with compatible playmates by size, temperament, and play style. That active, social environment helps them burn energy, which can make nights quieter and more restful.
Here’s what separates a stay at Camp from a standard boarding facility:
- All-day play included: Supervised open play in indoor and outdoor yards is part of the boarding rate. There’s no separate daycare charge added to your bill.
- Private cabins every night: Each dog gets their own cabin with comfy bedding so they can stretch out and recharge.
- Transparent, all-inclusive pricing: Supervised playtime, feeding per your instructions, and TLC are all covered. No surprise charges for basic care.
- No charge for medication administration: If your dog takes routine medications, we follow your instructions at no additional cost.
- Nightly Campfire Treat™: Every overnight Camper receives a special treat to wind down the day.
- Grooming and training on-site: Camp is a one-stop destination for Woodstock families. Grooming and training are available at the same location, so you never have to make an extra stop.
Many pups start wagging the moment they spot our lobby because they know exactly where the fun begins. That’s the dog hotel Woodstock families keep coming back to, and we’re proud of it.
What Overnight Boarding Looks Like
Knowing what your dog’s day looks like can make leaving them feel much easier. Your dog’s stay starts with a friendly greeting from our Camp Counselors and a morning potty break. After breakfast that follows your instructions, they join their Camper friends in our indoor and outdoor play areas for supervised fun.
Throughout the day, our team monitors group play and guides healthy interactions. Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and play style, which helps create a balanced environment. We build in rest breaks so pups can recharge between sessions, and those breaks are especially valuable for young, senior, or high-energy dogs who thrive on a rhythm of activity and downtime.
As evening approaches, Campers enjoy dinner and some wind-down time before each dog heads to their own cabin, where they can snuggle into cozy bedding and relax. Lights are dimmed, noise is kept low, and our team checks on Campers throughout the night.
Here’s what’s typically included in a boarding stay:
- All-day access to supervised indoor and outdoor play yards on Camp days
- Private cabin at night with comfy bedding for restful sleep
- Feeding according to your schedule and food portions
- Administration of routine medications as directed by you
- Regular potty breaks and fresh water at all times
Our goal is for your dog to go home happily tired, relaxed, and eager to return. By combining exercise, socialization, and rest in a thoughtful routine, we help many dogs settle into boarding quickly, even on their first time away from home.
How We Keep Campers Safe
Before joining group play, every new Camper completes a Camper Interview: a conversation about your dog’s history and preferences, a behavior assessment, and gradual introductions to other dogs at a comfortable pace. We only move forward with boarding if we believe our environment is a good fit for your pup.
All boarding Campers must be current on DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. Our team verifies that required vaccines are up to date, and we encourage you to share any health notes or special needs that might influence your dog’s stay. That information helps us tailor their experience and catch anything that might need extra attention.
During both day play and overnight hours, our Certified Camp Counselors® monitor dogs and facilities closely. They’re trained to read canine body language, support appropriate play, and step in if anyone needs a break. Regular cleaning routines keep high-touch areas and cabins fresh throughout the day.
Some of the ways we work to keep boarding safe:
- Camper behavior assessments and gradual introductions before entering open play
- Groupings by size, temperament, and play style
- Active supervision by Certified Camp Counselors® throughout the day
- DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccination requirements for all Campers
- Ongoing cleaning routines for cabins and play spaces
We know trust is earned, not assumed. That’s why we also offer web cameras in our play areas. You can log in during the day and see your dog romping with friends, which can be especially reassuring the first time you use overnight dog boarding in Woodstock.
Preparing for Your Dog’s Stay
Good preparation makes boarding smoother for everyone. The first step is scheduling your dog’s Camper Interview so we can meet them, learn about their personality, and confirm that our open play environment is a good match. Once your dog has been approved, you can book future boarding dates with confidence.
When it’s time for their stay, bring your dog’s regular food so we can keep their diet consistent, along with any medications in labeled containers with clear instructions. A favorite toy or small blanket that smells like home can help too. Sticking close to your dog’s usual routines helps them settle in more quickly.
At drop-off, our team can review your dog’s schedule, feeding needs, and any special notes. During the stay, you can check our webcams to see your Camper playing in our yards. If we notice anything worth your attention, such as a change in appetite, we’ll reach out so you stay informed.
Pickup is usually filled with happy tail wags and a pleasantly tired pup. Many dogs who board with us also enjoy daycare on other days, which means they get to know our staff and routines over time, and each boarding stay feels a little more like coming home. If you’re planning around the holidays or a busy school-break period, it’s worth reaching out early since peak-season spots fill quickly.
Dog Boarding for Woodstock & Cherokee County Families
Our Camp serves families across Woodstock and the surrounding Cherokee County area who need a trusted place for their dogs when life gets busy. Whether you’re heading out for a long weekend, planning a family vacation during school breaks, or managing a work trip, we work to make boarding feel convenient and worry-free.
Located here in Woodstock, GA, our Camp is close enough that drop-off and pickup can fit into your daily errands or commute, which means less time in the car for your dog and more time playing with their friends. If you’re looking for doggie boarding in Woodstock that feels familiar rather than stressful, repeat visits make a real difference. Dogs that board and do daycare at the same Camp build familiarity with staff, cabins, and play yards over time, so each stay feels more like returning home than starting over.
Many pet parents tell us they appreciate having a consistent local spot their dog genuinely looks forward to visiting. Our team is here and ready to welcome your pup to Camp.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
