Why Choose Our Dog Hotel Near Braeburn
There are many places you could leave your dog, but not every option gives pups room to romp or the supervision they deserve. At our dog hotel near Braeburn, we focus on creating a full Camp experience from morning zoomies to evening snuggles. Dogs enjoy spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, then settle into individual cabins when it is time to wind down.
Every new Camper completes a screening before joining group play. We take time to learn about your dog’s personality, play style, and comfort level around other pups. This screening, along with vaccination requirements, helps us keep the play yards comfortable for everyone. Our goal is to match your dog with compatible friends, so they feel confident and relaxed.
Unlike many boarding options that charge extra for basics, our all-inclusive approach means your dog’s day is filled with supervised play, potty breaks, and affection without surprise add-ons for attention. You know that when you choose our dog boarding company near Braeburn, your pup is not waiting for an upgraded package to get quality time. They are part of the fun from the moment they arrive.
Because Camp Bow Wow West Bellaire also offers daycare, training, and grooming, you can keep all your dog’s care in one familiar place. Many families in the area use daycare to help their pups get comfortable before an overnight stay, which can make that first boarding experience easier on both dogs and humans.
How Overnight Dog Boarding Works
When your dog stays with us, we want you to clearly picture what their visit will be like. Our overnight dog boarding near Braeburn blends our open-play daycare schedule with a calm, comfortable nighttime routine. Dogs spend the day playing with friends in climate-controlled indoor yards and secure outdoor areas, supervised by our Camp Counselors.
Throughout the day, we provide rest breaks as needed, especially for younger pups or senior dogs. Meal times follow the schedule you share with us, and we serve your dog’s own food whenever possible to keep tummies happy. If your dog has medications, our team follows your directions and documents each dose, so their health routines stay consistent.
As evening approaches, we transition the dogs from play yards to their cabins. Each dog gets their own space, which helps them settle and sleep comfortably. You are welcome to bring a favorite blanket or toy that smells like home, which can help nervous dogs relax. Our team checks on dogs throughout the evening and morning.
Many pet parents enjoy peeking in on their pups during the day using our web cameras. Seeing your dog romp around and wag their tail can make time apart feel easier. By the time you pick up, most dogs are pleasantly tired from play, which often means a peaceful ride home and a cozy nap on your couch.
Here is a simple look at a typical boarding day:
- Morning wake-up, potty break, and breakfast as directed by you
- Group play in indoor and outdoor yards with supervised open play
- Midday breaks for rest, snacks, and any needed medications
- Afternoon play sessions tailored to your dog’s energy level
- Evening wind-down, dinner, and quiet time in cozy cabins
- Overnight rest in individual cabins with periodic check-ins
Safety, Supervision & Comfort
Safety is at the center of everything we do, especially when dogs are playing in groups. Our Camp Counselors complete training in dog behavior and handling, so they know how to read body language, guide gentle play, and step in when a pup needs a break. We always keep an eye on the yards, and we actively manage play to keep it friendly.
Before a dog joins open play, we review their vaccination records and Camper profile and introduce them to the environment. During play, we group dogs by size, temperament, and energy level whenever possible. This structure helps shy pups feel more secure and gives high-energy dogs the right outlets. When you choose our dog boarding service near Braeburn, you are choosing a team that pays attention to the details that matter.
Cleanliness and comfort also play a big part in your dog’s health. We follow regular cleaning routines for cabins, play areas, and shared spaces. Fresh water is always available, and we watch for signs of stress or fatigue so we can offer extra breaks. For first-time or anxious boarders, we often suggest a daycare visit before a longer stay, which can help them feel more at home when they return.
Throughout your dog’s visit, we aim to balance activity with downtime. Some dogs love to be on the move all day, while others prefer shorter bursts of play. Our team adjusts as we get to know your dog, intending to send them home content, not overwhelmed.
What To Bring For Doggie Boarding
Preparing for doggie boarding near Braeburn is easier when you know exactly what to pack. We provide the essentials at Camp, yet a few familiar items from home can make your dog’s stay even more comfortable. We encourage you to keep things simple so your dog can focus on enjoying their Camp experience.
Most pet parents choose to bring their dog’s regular food, measured out by meal or in a labeled container, to avoid sudden diet changes. If your dog takes medications or supplements, please bring those in their original packaging with clear written instructions. A favorite blanket, toy, or t-shirt that smells like you can also help your pup settle into their cabin at night.
Here is a quick checklist to help you get ready:
- Your dog’s regular food and feeding instructions
- Any medications or supplements with written directions
- Comfort item such as a blanket or plush toy
- Up-to-date vaccination records for required shots
- Emergency contact information and your preferred vet
We supply cabins, comfy bedding options, water bowls, and toys in the play yards. If you are unsure whether to pack something, our team is happy to talk through what typically works best for dogs with similar needs.

Braeburn FAQs
Have questions? Camp Bow Wow West Bellaire is here to help!
-
Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
