Dog Boarding Near Midland County
A Fun, Safe Home Away From Home
When you need to be away, you want your pup to feel happy, safe, and loved, not just housed. At Camp Bow Wow® Petroplex, our dog boarding near Midland County gives your dog a real Camp experience with all-day play, plenty of attention, and cozy cabins for a great night’s sleep.
We understand how stressful it can feel to leave your dog overnight, especially if it is your first time boarding or your pup is used to being by your side. That is why we focus on your dog’s emotional and physical well-being from the moment they arrive. Our goal is to give them a vacation of their own while you are away.
Every Camper goes through a thorough screening before joining group play, and our fun-loving Camp Counselors supervise dogs throughout the day. With web cameras available for you to check in and transparent, all-inclusive pricing, we work to make the entire experience comfortable for both you and your four-legged family member.
Make a reservation online or call (432) 287-7281 to pick up a relaxed, "Camp-tired" pup when you return to Midland County.
Why Local Families Choose Our Camp
Families choose our dog hotel near Midland County option because it feels more like a kid’s summer camp than a kennel. Dogs are free to romp in spacious indoor and outdoor play yards, make new friends, and enjoy human attention throughout the day. Instead of sitting in a run waiting for a quick walk, their day is full of movement and interaction.
Our open-play environment means dogs are grouped with compatible Campers so they can safely socialize and burn off energy. Camp Counselors are in the play yards with the dogs, encouraging healthy play and stepping in whenever a pup needs a break. This constant supervision gives owners confidence that their dogs are truly watched and cared for, not just checked on occasionally.
We know cost matters, especially when planning a longer trip. That is why we offer straightforward, all-inclusive pricing that already includes playtime, attention, and plenty of TLC. You do not have to worry about surprise add-on fees for basic care. Owners also appreciate our web cameras, which let them peek in on their dogs any time and see them having fun at Camp instead of wondering how they are doing.
Because we also offer daycare, training, and grooming, many local families treat our location as their pup’s second home. Regular daycare Campers often slide right into overnight dog boarding with ease, since they already know the space, the staff, and their doggie friends. That ongoing relationship helps reduce anxiety for both dogs and people when it is time for a longer stay.
How Overnight Dog Boarding Works
When you schedule overnight dog boarding with us, we want everything to feel smooth and predictable. Before a dog joins our play yards, we complete a Camper interview to learn about their personality and make sure group play is a good fit. This visit helps us see how they do in our environment and gives you a chance to ask questions in person.
Once your pup is approved, booking a boarding stay is as simple as choosing your dates and confirming their routine. On drop-off day, we greet you both, review feeding and care instructions, and help your dog settle into Camp. Many dogs quickly shift into play mode once they see the yards and meet their new friends.
During the day, Campers enjoy supervised group play in our indoor and outdoor areas, with planned rest breaks so they do not get overtired. We follow the feeding schedule you provide, and we can generally accommodate special diets as long as you bring their food and clear instructions. If your dog takes medication, our team follows your directions carefully to keep them on track.
At night, each Camper relaxes in a private, cozy cabin with comfortable bedding. This gives them a quiet, familiar place to unwind after a busy day. Our team checks on the dogs and maintains a calm atmosphere so everyone can rest well. Many pups go to sleep quickly after a full day of running and romping with their friends.
Here is what is typically included in an overnight stay:
- All-day supervised group play in indoor and outdoor yards
- A private, cozy cabin for nighttime rest and naps
- Feeding according to your dog’s usual schedule and diet
- Plenty of affection, attention, and mental stimulation
- Routine wellness checks and ongoing monitoring throughout the day
From the first meet-and-greet through pick-up day, our team works to keep you informed and comfortable. Many owners notice that their dogs come home pleasantly tired, relaxed, and more confident after spending time with new friends at Camp. If you are looking for overnight dog boarding near Midland County, families can feel good about our camp, which is designed with both you and your pup in mind.
Safety, Comfort & Doggie Friends
We know safety is the first question on most owners’ minds. Before any dog joins our play yards, they complete a Camper screening that looks at temperament, behavior around other dogs, and comfort in a group setting. This process helps us build play groups that are well-matched, which keeps the environment fun and reduces stress for everyone.
During play, our Camp Counselors are always in the yard, not watching from a distance. They understand dog body language and step in to redirect rough play or give a dog a break when needed. We aim to keep play sessions positive and balanced so your dog enjoys both exercise and calm time. Cleanliness also matters, so we follow routine cleaning and sanitizing procedures to keep cabins and play areas fresh and inviting.
We understand that not every dog charges straight into a yard full of friends. If your pup is a bit shy at first, our team takes time to help them warm up at their own pace. We can introduce them slowly, let them observe from a comfortable distance, or give them shorter play sessions until they are ready for more. High-energy dogs typically benefit from our active environment, since they have room to run and structured playtime that channels their enthusiasm.
This thoughtful matching and supervision is a big reason families choose doggie boarding near Midland County that owners can feel comfortable about. Our goal is for every Camper to feel secure, not overwhelmed. When dogs know what to expect and feel supported by both staff and their doggie friends, boarding becomes something they can actually look forward to.

Have questions? Camp Bow Wow Petroplex is here to help!
-
Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
